Emily Ratajkowski has opened up about the men she’s dated since her divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard in 2022.
In a graphic essay published by The Cut on Friday, the model revealed that she is a love junkie, writing that she was “determined to meet a new type of woman.”
After researching various suitors, Ratajkowski came to the conclusion that “men who grew up in New York are uniquely handicapped characters from human hell.”
She detailed her time with the DJ, who allegedly told her that “incest is rampant” in the family.
“There was a vegan graffiti artist with the perfect attitude,” Ratajkowski continued. “A chef who thought he might have chlamydia, a Spanish Gen Z guy who couldn’t stop sending me nudes, the son of a politically questionable billionaire who is heavily self-medicating, a few Italian guys, and of course another DJ.”
She also nicknamed the mystery man a “millennial” and claimed he was “obsessed with dental hygiene, psychedelics and dirty jokes.”
Ms. Ratajkowski insisted this is new territory for her.
“Before our separation, I had never had a one-night stand. I had never slept with someone the day we met. In fact, I had only slept with eight people. Four of them were my live-in boyfriends, and one of them was my male best friend from high school,” she explained.
Ratajkowski added that she learned “two things” while dating after the separation.
The first was that the man would be “excited” by Ratajkowski having a child (son Sly, now 5), and the second was that the more Ratajkowski pushed the man away, the more he needed her.
Even though the mother of one had no interest in the elder Millennial, she continued to visit him.
“I once saw a tweet that said, ‘I’m doing it for a conspiracy,’ and at the time it was like a mantra, and I started repeating it a little bit more often,” she confessed.
But Ratajkowski was “so absorbed” in caring for Sly that she “couldn’t get off the sex.”
She decided to put an end to her hookup days.
Elsewhere in the essay, Ratajkowski opened up about the end of her marriage.
The entrepreneur revealed he stopped having sex with his girlfriend Bear McClard, 45, after their son was born.
Ratajkowski explained that in the period since welcoming Sly in March 2021, her “marriage fell apart” in a way that “felt instantaneous and excruciatingly slow.”
“Six months after my son was born, my husband and I stopped having sex,” the activist elaborated. “We broke up after less than a year.”
Ratajkowski said “leaving” her marriage “was a difficult choice that involved a lot of pain and a great cost.”
Even though becoming a single mother changed the way people saw her, the writer was finally able to see herself in a new light.
“I didn’t leave, I left. That’s when I realized that the only real superpower I had through divorce was being able to say ‘no’. I was brave. I was really, really brave,” Ratajkowski mused.
Page Six revealed that the podcaster split from Bear-McClard in July 2022 after nearly five years of marriage.
At the time, sources claimed the filmmaker had been unfaithful to Ratajkowski.
“He’s a serial cheater,” the source said. “That’s terrible. He’s a dog.”
Ratajkowski filed for divorce in September 2022. Just a year later, in 2023, Bear-McClard was accused of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior with a teenage girl in an exposé in Variety magazine.
Producers did not address the allegations.
