Patrick Muldoon gushes about his future projects in his final heartbreaking Instagram post.
The “Melrose Place” alum, who suffered a near-fatal heart attack over the weekend, shared a screenshot highlighting Chris Hemsworth’s “Cockroach” casting in a Deadline article on Friday.
“I’m so excited to be a part of this amazing project, KOCKROACH, directed by Matt Ross and starring Chris Hemsworth, Taron Edgerton, Zazie Beetz, and Alec Baldwin,” Muldoon told his followers.
He said the film was “currently being shot in Australia.”
Two days later, the “Days of Our Lives” alum was pronounced dead at the scene at his home in Beverly Hills, California.
The actor was 57 years old.
According to TMZ, he spent Sunday morning at home with his partner Miriam Rothbart before taking a shower.
When Rothbart went looking for Muldoon, she found him unconscious on the bathroom floor.
The previous weekend, Muldoon celebrated Easter with a “family table jam” and looked happy and healthy.
He posted a video of himself singing while playing the guitar on Instagram before a holiday meal.
Notably, Muldoon was the lead singer of the Sleeping Mass Band before his death.
In addition to Rothbart, Muldoon is survived by his parents, Deanna Muldoon and Patrick Muldoon Sr., and his sister and brother-in-law, Shana and Ahmet Zappa. and their children.
Muldoon’s career began in 1990 with two episodes of “Who’s the Boss?” He then had a recurring role on “Saved by the Bell.”
He is best known for playing Austin Reed on Days of Our Lives in 1992 and 1995, and then Richard Hart on Melrose Place from 2011 to 2012 during their hiatus.
The soap opera star recently completed three projects, “Dirty Hands,” “Stay at Home” and “Pray for Me: Key to Freedom,” which will be released posthumously.
