Meghan Markle is feeling green.
The Duchess of Sussex attended the Netflix party celebrating Season 2 of Beef on Friday night wearing a color that was sure to make her stand out from the crowd.
The dress code for the event has not been confirmed, but most attendees appeared to be wearing black and white, with the exception of guest of honor Carey Mulligan.
Mulligan, who stars in the highly anticipated upcoming show, chose a lime green Christopher John Rogers look for the party.
Markle appeared to be the only one wearing a brightly colored dress, as she wore a chartreuse-colored dress to match the winner.
The star wore a Heidi Merrick dress ($715) and brown Jimmy Choo heeled sandals, sparking outrage over the apparent fakery.
One Twitter user said: “She must have asked what kind of dress the star is wearing. And Mumu managed to find the ugliest dress in the same color,” adding: “She wants attention.”
However, “there is no color-related dress code” and the two incidents were said to be “a happy coincidence that both women were wearing the biggest colors of the season.”
Prince Harry also attended, wearing a dark suit and white shirt without a tie.
The star-studded event was attended by her co-stars Oscar Isaac and Charles Melton, as well as Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and his wife Nicole Avant, who gave Markle a big hug.
The event came on the heels of a bit of a rocky affair between Markle and the streaming network. Not only did Netflix fail to renew her show “With Love, Meghan,” but they also ended their partnership with the lifestyle brand. Additionally, Sarandos unfollowed her personal Instagram account.
Additionally, this public appearance comes amid Prince Harry’s ongoing legal battle with his former charity Sentebale.
