Kris Jenner is ready for her winter tour.
This mama jar rang out at the beginning of the holiday season with a post showing off her blunt bob and bangs. The look is eerily reminiscent of Anna Wintour’s signature “doo.”
“Thank you 🫶🏼 I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of love! 🙏🏼🦃♥️,” he captioned a series of photos on Instagram, tagging his daughter Khloe Kardashian, 41.
In the snap, the 70-year-old mother of six wears a gorgeous forest green Ralph Lauren floor-length satin halterneck dress ($3,750) under a matching cable-knit cardigan.
Kardashian poses next to her mother in a black turtleneck minidress, paired with burgundy leather gloves and matching stiletto pumps. Both women wore statement gold earrings that matched their sparkling holiday decorations.
Another photo shared on Khloe’s Instagram shows Jenner sitting on a chair holding a cold martini glass, her eyes hidden behind dark sunglasses. It’s also a clear homage to the long-time Vogue editorial department, whose designer shades have become almost permanent fixtures, worn both outdoors and indoors.
Wintour and the Kardashian family have a complicated history. Editors reportedly kept her family out of the Met Gala for years, until Kim Kardashian attended as then-boyfriend Kanye West’s plus-one in 2013. The following year, Wintour featured Kim and Kanye on the April 2014 cover of Vogue ahead of their May wedding, cementing Kim’s transformation into a fashion powerhouse.
Since then, the Kardashian-Jenners have become regulars at the Met Gala.
Wintour’s iconic bob is a legend in the fashion world. It is said that she has not changed her style since she was a teenager.
“I’ve been to a lot of hair salons over the years, but I can’t remember how long I’ve had this haircut,” Wintour told Rihanna in a 2019 Vogue video. “I tried to change it once and it was a huge failure. I had to wear a hat for several months. So I’m very nervous and don’t want to try again.”
Jenner, on the other hand, has gone through a variety of styles this year alone, trading in her fragmented pixie hair for face-framing curtain bangs and voluminous waves that reach her chin. She also went platinum blonde for a short period of time.
“I wore that black pixie for so long, I couldn’t look at it anymore. I think the kids are excited that I tried something new,” Jenner joked at an event with hairstylist Chris Appleton.
The winter bob seems to be Jenner’s annual winter look. She debuted a very similar look at Thanksgiving last year, posing for photos with Khloe and her two children, True and Tatum.
