Dakota Johnson is looking for love again, five months after breaking off her engagement to Chris Martin.
A source told People magazine that the 36-year-old star is “slowly starting to date again and she is happy. Her relationship with Chris has been on and off and she was always hoping things would work out, but now that they are finalized, she seems to be feeling lighter and more at peace.”
Overall, she is doing really well, the source said. “She’s in a great place in her career, especially as she prepares to direct her first feature film. She’s busy, fulfilled and moving forward,” the source said.
In May, Johnson spoke to ELLE UK about her love life and how hers is different from most. Reflecting on her role as a matchmaker in The Materialist, she said, “I think the whole concept of this movie is very interesting because it’s so foreign to me. I just don’t know that world. That’s why I was so intrigued and intrigued by it. It’s the most beautiful aspect of being human, but it’s also the ugliest thing. Loving someone is the most terrifying and beautiful thing a person can do.”
