Glenn Close admitted he was surprised by Kim Kardashian’s professionalism on the set of All’s Fair.
“What surprised me was the seriousness of Kim’s intentions,” the Golden Globe winner told Variety about co-starring with the reality star on the critically panned series.
“She always knew her lines. She was never late. She was always prepared,” Close continued.
“She didn’t pretend that she was a great actress, but she was smart enough to have people around her that she could learn from.”
Close, 78, also noted the SKIMS founder’s humble attitude while filming the Hulu legal drama, which also stars Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson and Niecy Nash.
“If she had a big ego, or what I call a ‘life is too short’ person, I would have been unhappy, but that’s not what she is,” the Oscar nominee explained.

Close said she had “become closer” to Ryan Murphy, the mastermind behind series such as “American Horror Story” Season 12, in which Kardashian, 45, starred.
“I had never been in any of Ryan’s movies or shows. … I didn’t understand his tone for a while,” Close said, adding, “It was difficult.”
On a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner hosted a fun Fatal Attraction viewing party for the show’s cast to watch one of Close’s most iconic movie roles.
Despite their off-camera camaraderie, the show suffered from harshly negative reviews across the board.
At one point, the review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes had an astonishing 0% criticism rate, but it is now 3%.
Kardashian, who recently failed her bar exam despite her real-life aspirations to become a lawyer, coped with her disappointing evaluation by teasing her on social media.
“Have you watched the most critically acclaimed show of the year yet!?!?!?” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” personality captioned a photo she uploaded to Instagram earlier this month. “All’s Fair is now streaming on @hulu and @disneyplus.”
Close wasn’t kidding when he defended the show, which revolves around a high-powered divorce lawyer in Los Angeles.
“Personally, I think the first three episodes were the weakest,” Close told Variety.
“It was a rough start. I watched all nine episodes and I think it really built up to something.”
Close added: “Not everyone likes the Kardashians, as they would say themselves. They have an image.”
