Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson are legally married.
Page Six obtained a copy of the marriage certificate, which was filed Thursday in Palm Beach, Florida.
Brad McPherson, the Trump family’s real estate attorney, officiated the wedding, according to the filing.
TMZ was first to report the news.
Page Six exclusively reported earlier this week that Anderson, 39, and Don Jr., 48, are planning an intimate ceremony on a private island in the Bahamas over Memorial Day weekend.
It is unclear whether President Trump plans to attend the small ceremony, as he told reporters on Thursday that “the timing is not good” because of the Iran war. But he said he would “try to make it happen.”
“If you show up, you’ll be killed. If you don’t show up, you’ll be killed,” he said at the time.
Sources told Page Six last month that Don Jr. and Anderson were planning to postpone their marriage until after the war.
“They are well aware that holding a lavish wedding at the White House while people are dying will not be welcomed,” a source said. “It would be too extravagant and too situational, especially after King Charles’s state dinner.”
The source added: “Don was fully supportive of the bridal shower and bachelorette party. He loves her and wants everyone to know they are getting married. But he wants to make sure the timing is politically appropriate before actually setting a date.”
Anderson celebrated her bridal shower at her Mar-a-Lago mansion in April. The “Enchanted Garden” themed party featured guests including Ivanka Trump and her daughter Arabella Kushner, Lara Trump and Tiffany Trump.
Don Jr. proposed to Anderson on December 13th after just a year of dating. Sources told Page Six at the time that they flew to Camp David, Maryland, to celebrate Anderson’s 39th birthday, and that he got down on one knee the next day.
“No one was surprised, but everyone is excited for the happy couple,” the source said.
Don Jr. was previously married to Vanessa Trump. He and Vanessa, who is currently dating Tiger Woods, have five children.
Page Six previously reported that Vanessa “totally approves” of their relationship.
