“90 Day Fiancé” star Patrick Mendes has filed for divorce from his wife, Tyce Ramone, after four years of marriage.
The reality star filed court documents earlier this week saying they are “incompatible,” TMZ reported.
Mendez is also seeking sole legal and physical custody of her 3-year-old daughter Alysi, whom she claims has been living with her since May 6 at a separate address from the estranged couple’s shared residence.
Although he’s not asking for child support or spousal support (Mendes claims in the documents that he makes $10,000 a month and Ramone makes $5,000 a month), he’s asking for a Honda Ridgeline, an $8,000 Fidelity 401K, and a Tempur-Pedic mattress in the split.
Representatives for Mendez and Ramone did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
“Out of respect for everyone involved, we believe it is important not to jump to conclusions or engage in speculation before all the facts are properly established. Domestic matters can be very emotional and complex, and we encourage compassion, privacy, and due process for everyone involved,” the couple said in a statement to TMZ.
“Our focus right now is solely on ensuring everyone’s safety and support. We appreciate the public’s understanding and ask that families and individuals respect their privacy during this time,” the statement concluded.
Mendes and Ramone both appeared on “90 Day Fiancé” and “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After.”
He was recently cast in the upcoming season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort, which follows a couple’s journey through therapy.
“The last few years have been difficult for Patrick and Ty, including the birth of their daughter, a move to Las Vegas, business failures, family tragedies, and health issues. Tensions have escalated over spending, support, and communication as Patrick strives to recover financially and emotionally,” reads a summary of the ex-lovers’ issues.
“The growing lack of intimacy and Thai’s desire to travel to Brazil more frequently, sometimes without Patrick, has further strained their relationship. The couple struggles to stay connected as issues of trust and respect escalate.”
“90 Day: The Last Resort” premieres on TLC on Monday, June 1 at 8 p.m.
