Despite her love for the late John F. Kennedy Jr., Brooke Shields “never slept with him.”
“I had a crazy, crazy crush,” Shields, 60, revealed on Thursday’s “Watch What Happens Live.” “We dated, but I never slept with him.”
“I don’t know if it was important, but it was important to me!” she continued. “It was nice to meet him.”

Shields also talked about watching FX’s “Love Story,” which depicts the relationship between her former eldest son and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy leading up to the 1999 plane crash.
“I watched it from beginning to end. I loved it. I thought the acting was great,” the “You Are Killing Me” star gushed, before pointing out that there was no “real love story” between the public figures.
Meanwhile, Shields’ daughter Rowan Henchy, 23, worked as a production assistant on Love Story and informed her mother that her name had been featured on the show.
“It was kind of weird,” the Blue Lagoon star admitted to People magazine earlier this week. “I was away, and my daughter called me and said, ‘Oh my god, you’re mentioned in Love Story.’ She was like, ‘Really?’
In one scene, John (played by Paul Anthony Kelly) tells Carolyn (played by Sarah Pidgeon) that he has kissed Shields, even though he has never dated her.
The “Endless Love” actress confirmed the news to her eldest daughter.
“I was like, ‘Okay, if you want, I’ll be happy to tell you the whole story,'” Shields recalls, “‘But — yeah.’
In March, the mother-daughter duo teased the moment in a cheeky TikTok video.
The author and model mouthed lyrics from Charli XCX’s song “Boom Clap.”
In the clip, Henchy lip-syncs the lyrics, along with the line, “Was JFK Jr. a good kisser?” appeared on the screen.
The camera then showed Shields lip-syncing the text above the video, which read, “One of the best.”
Henchy captioned the footage, “But remember…they never dated.”
Shields, a former Calvin Klein model, was briefly linked to John in the 1980s.
In 2023, while appearing on The Howard Stern Show, the mother of two said she and John went on a “real” ski date in Aspen, Colorado.
Shields called their kiss “the best kiss of my life,” adding that she “froze up” at the thought of having sex with him.
“I thought, ‘Oh my god, you’re in love and if you sleep with him, he might never talk to you again,'” she recalled.
“I wasn’t playing the game. I was just really scared of getting hurt,” Shields claimed. “Because if I had slept with him, I would have given him my entire universe, my heart, my everything.”
The former president’s son married Carolyn in 1996, but their relationship has been notoriously rocky over the years.
However, their lives were tragically cut short in July 1999 when the plane John was piloting crashed into the ocean off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Carolyn’s sister, Lauren Bessette, was also on the plane.
Shields married tennis star Andre Agassi in 1997 and divorced two years later in 1999.
In 2001, the “Pretty Baby” star married Chris Henchy. He and Rowan have a 20-year-old daughter, Greer.
