Blake Lively plans to show jurors at her upcoming trial whether Justin Baldoni ever “harassed” Britney Spears, according to reports.

The Daily Mail reports that the actress wants to use a 2017 clip in which Baldoni recalls an awkward exchange with Spears when the pop star guest-starred on an episode of “Jane the Virgin.”

In an interview with Hughes, Baldoni said that he was a huge fan of Spears in high school and that they were tweeting each other before she came to set.

Baldoni recalled coming to see Spears even though they didn’t have any scenes together.

“I approached her and in my heart I thought we were friends,” he said with a laugh. “We weren’t.”

“And I stood up and reached out to her…I said, ‘Hi!’ and gave her a big hug. And I think I scared her, because she was like, ‘Hello,’ and there was an awkward moment where I was like, ‘Did I just harass Britney Spears?'” he questioned.

Baldoni played Rafael Solano on The CW’s Jane the Virgin, which aired for five seasons from 2014 to 2019.

Spears guest-starred in a season two episode of the series, playing an exaggerated version of herself.

According to the newspaper, Lively wants to use the video to compare Baldoni and Spears’ behavior to her behavior with Baldoni on the set of “It Ends with Us.” Lively accused Baldoni of sexually harassing her on the set of the 2024 film, but her sexual harassment claims were dismissed by a judge earlier this month.

Judge Louis Lehman dismissed 10 of Lively’s 13 claims against Baldoni, including sexual harassment, defamation and conspiracy, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

However, three of her claims – breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting retaliation – can proceed.

The trial for Mr. Lively and Mr. Baldoni is scheduled for May 18th.

Spears isn’t the only pop star caught up in a lawsuit. Lively’s former best friend Taylor Swift’s name was on the list of questions used to select jurors for the trial, created “in collaboration” by Lively and Baldoni’s legal teams.

One of the many questions asked is, “Do you know the following people who may hear from you or hear from you during the trial?” According to court documents viewed by Page Six.

Swift’s name comes after a long catalog of other celebrities who may testify or be mentioned at the trial.

Lawyers also added a note asking potential jurors if they knew any of the celebrities, such as Ms. Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds, her sister Robin Lively, or several of the cast members of “The End”, including Hasan Minhaj, Jenny Slate and author Colleen Huber.
