Craig Conover is “disappointed” after his Southern Charm co-star Shep Rose went on an overtime rant at BravoCon 2025.
When Conover stopped by “Jeff Lewis Live” on Tuesday, he was asked about an exclusive video obtained by Page Six that showed Rose bashing him and his ex-girlfriend and “Summer House” alum Paige Desorbo.
“My assistant told me about it this morning, and I said I didn’t want to watch it,” Conover, 36, told host Lewis.
Mr. Conover acknowledged that he was “circumstances aware” of what Mr. Rose had said about his past relationship with Mr. DeSorbo, but made sure to point out that he was “not present” at the time of the trial.
“I had a great BravoCon and I’ve been busy the whole time,” Conover said before admitting that there was a part of her that was disappointed.
“I think she’s disappointed because[Rose’s rant]brought me and Paige’s names[into the conversation],” Conover explained, claiming that it seemed like their romance and breakup was a “big topic” throughout the weekend.
“But in reality, I had nothing but good things to say about her,” he stressed.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, Rose, 45, was filmed yelling to a group of people at a bar at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas: “You were fake the whole time, weren’t you? How many more followers did you get? 200?”
At another point in the heated monologue, Rose exclaimed, “She and Craig made a lot of money on a reality show and she broke up with him on a podcast! Do you know how bad that is? Talk about biting the hand that fed you and basically ignoring the hand that fed you.”
Southern Hospitality star Bradley Carter, who was standing next to Rose, bent down to whisper something in her ear to calm her down.
Witnesses said Rose also made derogatory comments about DeSorbo, 33, and former co-star Amanda Batula. However, another witness claimed to have heard nothing of the sort.
Meanwhile, a source close to Rose denied the statement regarding Mr. DeSorbo and Mr. Batula, 34.
Rose’s strong feelings seem to stem from her loyalty to Conover, with whom she has developed a rocky friendship.
DeSorbo announced his breakup with Conover in December 2024 on the Giggly Squad podcast after three years of dating.
In June, she announced her departure from Summer House after seven seasons.
As for Batula, Conover famously feuded with her husband, Loverboy founder Kyle Cook, over a 2024 investment in a competing canned cocktail company.
Representatives for Rose, DeSorbo and Batula did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
However, DeSorbo addressed the virus situation through several comments on Instagram.
“Can I borrow it if you need it?” she wrote under the Queens of Bravo post, though it’s unclear whether she was referring to followers or money.
One fan commented: “This is so romantic. Everyone is so in love with our queen,” to which DeSorbo replied: “I felt like Taylor Swift.”
