Fans slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian deleted a photo of them posing with the Sussexes from Instagram.
Several theories began circulating on social media after eagle-eyed Instagram users noticed that the Kardashians stars had deleted a photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from their 70th birthday party on Saturday.
One user wrote: “It looks like the photos of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have also been removed from Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian’s Instagrams.” “Why? When you go to an event like that, you expect to be photographed. You’ve already been photographed, so the damage is done.”
Other speculation is that Prince Harry and Ms Markle “desperately begged” the reality stars to “take them off”, citing “remembrance weekend and the backlash”, and mentioned their support for Britain’s military community, which Prince Harry paid tribute to by wearing a red poppy on his jacket.
Other users claimed the Hulu stars had decided to delete the snaps, with a third writing: “Meghan Markle seduced her husband in a desperate attempt to date Hollywood celebrities even though she wants to live a ‘private life’…”
The user added: “It’s so embarrassing that even Kim Kardashian deleted this photo because she doesn’t want anything to do with her.”
“Honestly, I think Kimmy deleted it because she was getting more attention than anyone else on the merry-go-round,” said a fourth netizen.
Page Six reached out to representatives for Kardashian, Jenner, Markle and Harry, but did not immediately receive a response.
Jenner posted images from the party on Instagram, including a snap of her posing with the Suits alum, 44, and Prince Harry, 41, on a merry-go-round.
However, the photo was later deleted.
Kardashian, 45, also initially shared a photo with Markle, but that too was deleted from Instagram.
The Invictus Games founder and his wife arrived hand in hand at the soirée held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s $175 million mansion in Beverly Hills, California.
Royal family members were stunned by the Sussexes’ attendance at Jenner’s birthday celebration, calling it “too lame.”
“This really shows how far Prince Harry is from the rest of the family,” a source exclusively told Page Six.
“These people may be American stars, but their sheer glitz is at odds with what Prince William is trying to do with his life and the monarchy,” the source continued.
