Earlier this week, a source told People magazine that the pair had been secretly “spending time together” for several months, ever since rumors of a date sparked at Coachella. Although a source wouldn’t say whether their relationship was romantic, a source did provide details to Entertainment Tonight yesterday, revealing that there was indeed an “cheating” between the two.
“Kendall and Jacob have been in similar circles for years, but in recent months they have become attracted to each other and started having an affair,” the source explained. “It was fun for Kendall to have a new love.”
The source added that it was “easy” for Elordi and Jenner to bond. “They’re both modest and take their careers seriously, so they get along well,” the source explained.
Jenner and Elordi have known each other since at least 2022. That year, People reported that Elordi attended her birthday party, and a photo of them together in Paris in February of the same year also went viral on social media.
Elordi has recently become single after several years of on-and-off relationship with Olivia Jade Giannulli, which began in 2021. In February, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Giannulli is “ready to move on from Jacob Elordi and move on to a new chapter,” noting that Elordi’s career played a role in the breakup. “Jacob is very focused on work and gets intense when he’s involved in a project. It was difficult for Olivia to maintain a relationship with him.”
Meanwhile, Jenner has been openly single for the past year. In January, the 30-year-old star told Owen Seale on In Your Dreams that she was intentionally taking time for herself.
“I remember turning 29 and saying to myself, “Yes, I feel like I’m into it, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I’ve had great relationships, but I’ve never had great relationships. But throughout my 20s, I felt like I had been through a lot,” she said. “I’ve had some long-term, consistent relationships, where we were close, not immediate, so I never kept my 20s to myself. I’m talking about independence.”

I want to make my own choices and I want to do what I want to do.'”
