Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are currently on separate paths romantically. A source told People magazine that the couple, who welcomed a daughter five months ago, have split, but are “working on things. They want each other to succeed and be happy.”
Officials noted their on-again, off-again history and added that there was a possibility of reconciliation. “The two have broken up and gotten back together,” the source explained.
On April 30, sources told the outlet that Davidson and Hewitt were in a difficult situation. “There are issues, but they are working together to resolve them,” the official said. “They are adjusting to parenthood and working hard through the process,” the source added, adding that their daughter is “their number one priority.”
Hewitt and Davidson first confirmed their relationship in March 2025, and announced a few months later that they were expecting their first child in July 2025.
Their daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, was born on December 12th. In February, Hewitt wrote an essay for ELLE about her decision not to breastfeed.
In a joint interview with Us Weekly, the couple shared their hopes of eventually getting married and having more children. When asked if he would get married or have enough kids for the soccer team, Davidson jokingly replied, “Yeah, I’ll do all those things.”
“Obviously I think we’re talking about next steps and things like that,” Davidson said. “But right now, we’re just trying to finish our routine with this baby… For the first three months of the baby’s life, we’re just trying to keep him alive. We’re already planning on having another baby.”
She also noted how becoming parents has already changed them, saying, “I think we’re both a little more resilient than we thought, which is great.”
Hewitt added: “I can’t sit here and say it’s all going to be easy, but you’re absolutely right. Even when you think you can’t do it, stay resilient. And if you get through it, you’ll come out stronger from it.”
