Kim Kardashian shared photos from her son Psalm’s 7th birthday party on Instagram on May 14th. The event included elaborate giveaways, Poké Ball balloons, and an appearance by Pikachu (or rather, a costumed Mason Disick) posing for photos with the Kardashian-Jenner kids.
While Kardashian wore a casual outfit in a plain white sleeveless bodysuit and blue high-waisted jeans, her kids embraced the Pokemon party theme. The birthday boy wore a gray Pikachu T-shirt and black basketball shorts, while his sister Chicago chose a faded Pikachu T-shirt and blue jeans. My brother Saint was wearing a faded gray T-shirt and light gray jeans.
Activities at the event included an oversized Pokemon trading card photo station where Dream Kardashian and Psalm took pictures together, trading card distribution, dance time with a DJ, and time to play in the family pool. The celebration ended with Psalm cutting the birthday cake surrounded by friends and family.
Kim hasn’t shared much of Psalm’s life on social media. On a 2025 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she opened up about her decision to post less about her son than her other children. “It’s really interesting,” she said. “When you have your first child, you post everything, then with your second child you post a little less, and with your third child you post a little less. That’s kind of what happens with everything.”

He’s a dreamy kid and the most independent. He loves to dance and never throws a tantrum. He’s got the cutest voice you’ve ever heard.”
Earlier that season, Kim opened up about her divorce from Kanye West and said she tried to shield her children from all the drama as much as possible. “I’m probably more stressed out just because I have to protect my kids. Everyone around me can handle (the drama), but I want to protect my kids. They’re going to know things. They’re going to grow up and understand,” she explained. “So my job as a mother is to make sure that my children are protected when that kind of behavior is happening.”
