Shia LaBeouf has been formally charged in connection with an alleged altercation during Mardi Gras in New Orleans in February.
According to WWL Louisiana, court records on Thursday show the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office charged the “Even Stevens” alumnus, 39, with three counts of simple assault.
The misdemeanor charges come months after NOPD officers were called to New Orleans party spot R Bar shortly before 1 a.m. on Feb. 17.
Staff claimed the “Transformers” actor became combative as the night progressed.
Mr. LaBeouf reportedly had been partying at the Big Easy all weekend, but when the bar manager tried to kick him out, he refused to leave and became increasingly aggressive.
Investigators said several people physically restrained the movie star until police arrived on the scene.
Footage of the altercation showed the “Fury” actor making anti-gay slurs and then headbutting one of the men involved.
According to a police report, one patron suffered serious injuries that potentially dislocated his nose during the fight, even though he told LaBeouf he didn’t want to fight.
A bartender at another establishment, speaking anonymously, said the Disney Channel alum was “terrorizing the city.”
TMZ later obtained footage of a shirtless LaBeouf being treated by paramedics after the alleged altercation.
The “Hole’s” star appeared in court on Feb. 26 and was released on $100,000 bail.
He was also seen dancing around with prison documents in his mouth and mocking his arrest.
After his release, a photo obtained by Page Six showed LaBeouf entering a church and going for a jog.
The Peanut Butter Falcon star then gave an interview to Andrew Callaghan on Channel 5 and explained what happened.
“Honestly, big gay people are scary to me,” he said during the discussion.

“When I’m standing alone and there are three gay men next to me touching my feet, it scares me. I’m sorry. If that’s homophobic, then so am I. So am I.”
LaBeouf admitted, “It was a mistake to touch anyone. Ever. And this concludes my statement on this entire issue.”
“I was drunk and it’s Mardi Gras, so everything I’m saying is nonsense,” he added.
Meanwhile, LaBeouf quietly split from wife Mia Goth, with whom he shares 3-year-old daughter Isabel, more than a year ago.
A representative for the actor did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
