Kris Jenner is planning to celebrate her 70th birthday this weekend in Los Angeles with a lavish James Bond-themed party, a source exclusively tells Page Six.
We hear the A-list party for the famous matriarch will be hosted by her children, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie.
According to people involved, the “007 theme” cleverly comes from “007(0)’s 70th birthday.”
Supermodel Kendall celebrated her 30th birthday last week with a lavish beach vacation with her mother, siblings and famous friends including Hailey Bieber and Justine Skye as guests.
At the surfside party, family members posed barefoot in front of giant silver balloons that read “Happy Birthday Kendall.”
Ten years ago, Chris celebrated his 60th birthday with a 1920s-inspired “The Great Gatsby”-themed party, which cost him $2 million at the time. At that party, a classy black invitation was leaked that read, “Because we love her…share our excitement in a special birthday celebration,” written in silver lettering.
I hear the guest list included some very famous faces.
In 2015, guests at Chris’ 60th birthday party (thrown by his children at a West Hollywood studio lot) included Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, designer Riccardo Tisci, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, Boy George, Melanie Griffith, Olivier Rousteing, Lisa Rinna, and Kim’s now ex Kanye West.
The outfits for the party were over the top, from Chris’ diamond headpiece by Lorraine Schwartz to Kylie’s “chandelier dress” by Yousef Al Jasmi, which reportedly took more than 16 days to hand-embroider with 400,000 crystals.
