Katy Perry was seen grabbing Justin Bieber’s butt in a video that resurfaced in June 2012.
In the clip, the then 27-year-old “Teenage Dream” singer puts his hand on Bieber’s butt, 18, as they meet backstage at the Capital’s Summertime Ball in London.
Perry then turned to the camera and said, “I’m sorry, Selena,” referring to Bieber’s then-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Bieber, 32, has never spoken publicly about the incident.
Page Six has reached out to Perry and Bieber’s representatives for comment.
Old footage of Perry, 41, has resurfaced after he denied sexually assaulting Ruby Rose 20 years ago.
On April 12, the Orange Is the New Black alum, 40, claimed in a thread that the incident allegedly happened at a nightclub in Melbourne, Australia, when she was in her 20s.
“I was sexually assaulted by Katy Perry at Spice Market Nightclub in Melbourne. Who knows what she would think,” Rose wrote in response to Complex Music’s post about Perry’s reaction to Bieber’s Coachella 2026 performance.
Rose claimed that Perry “pulled her underwear to the side, rubbed her disgusting vagina in my face, my eyes snapped open and I vomited projectile at her.”
“Then I threw up on her and I told the story publicly, but I didn’t know how else to deal with it so I turned it into a ‘funny drunk story’,” Rose claimed. “Then she agreed to help me get a U.S. visa. So I kept it a secret, but I told her she wasn’t a nice person.”
Perry’s rep denied Rose’s claims in a statement to Page Six.
“The claims Ruby Rose has spread on social media about Katy Perry are not only completely false, they are dangerous and reckless lies,” her representative said.
“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious allegations on social media against various individuals, allegations that have been repeatedly denied by those named,” the statement continued.
Page Six confirmed that Perry is being investigated by Australian authorities over the alleged incident.
“Detectives from the Melbourne Sexual Offenses and Child Abuse Investigation Team are investigating a historic sexual assault that took place in Melbourne in 2010,” Victoria Police Acting Sergeant Paul Hogan told us in a statement last week.
“Police are told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD,” the statement added.
