The pop star, who admitted he had the best sex of his life, revealed secrets about his relationship with Madonna to John F. Kennedy Jr.’s inner circle.
A source close to JFK Jr. exclusively revealed to Page Six that his dalliance with Madonna was “a fun adventure for him.”
“He did say something to me…so I knew it actually happened,” a source said of their relationship. “He had a really good time and had a really good time[with Madonna].”
The source added that Kennedy Jr. and the “Vogue” singer dated only once, but remained friends ever since.
Rosemary Terenzio, JFK Jr.’s longtime chief of staff, agreed that the two were able to maintain a congenial friendship even after their “whirlwind” romance.
“We didn’t talk about his intimate life,” the co-author of “JFK Jr.: An Intimate Oral Biography” exclusively told Page Six Friday.
“I just remember him saying it was like a whirlwind little romance, but it never really progressed beyond that,” she said, adding, “And I know there were a lot of scheduling issues involved because she was on tour.”
Terenzio, who is also the author of Fairytale Interrupted: A Memoir of Life, Love, and Loss, explained that Madonna and Kennedy Jr. were “friend-zoning each other” after enjoying a heated encounter.
“We both moved forward little by little,” she said.
Although Madonna and JFK Jr. did not continue their physical relationship, they moved forward with some cheeky flirting.
“They had some really cute banter and a great friendship,” Terenzio said. “They didn’t see each other all the time or anything like that. But they had a cute and funny friendship.”
“That was their relationship, where she was nice to him and he was nice to her,” she continued. “It was funny. It was like two of the most famous people in the world at the time were tricking each other and complimenting each other.”
Terenzio said Kennedy Jr. and Madonna were sending each other playful messages by fax.
“That’s how they communicated,” Terenzio said.
Kennedy Jr. and Madonna ran in the same circles, so it was easy to stay connected.
“They trained with the same trainer, so they met from time to time,” Terenzio said, admitting that “they remained friends.”
Earlier this week, Page Six exclusively revealed that Madonna called Kennedy Jr. the best ever, but with a caveat.
The 67-year-old “Like a Prayer” artist connected with Grindle while promoting his new album, “Confessions II,” and answered several questions, including “Who’s your best down?”
“I only say the names of the dead,” Madonna said, then whispered, “John Kennedy Jr.”
Madonna and Kennedy’s relationship is undeniable, but the son of President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis married Carolyn Bessette in 1996. Three years later, the couple tragically died in a plane crash.
Before getting married, JFK Jr. had romantic relationships with several A-listers, including Daryl Hannah, Brooke Shields, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Madonna was married to Sean Penn from 1985 to 1989 and Guy Ritchie from 2000 to 2008, and also dated Jean-Michel Basquiat, Luke Perry, and Tupac Shakur.
