“Below Deck Sailing Yacht” alum Ali Dore has revealed the shocking results of her recent plastic surgery. For that purpose, I flew to Bali and had surgery to tighten my waist.
Dore, 38, posted before and after photos of her torso on Instagram on Tuesday, saying she was about halfway through her recovery. She shared both front and back photos of herself in a bikini.
After the surgery, her waist was noticeably smaller and her sides were dramatically toned.
The Australian Bravo star couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
“At 5.5 weeks out of 12, just a little less than halfway through, I’m already convinced this is the best thing I’ve ever done,” she wrote. “Thank you @_snatchedwaist team for making it such a positive experience!”
Some of her followers criticized her for having the surgery, with one comment reading: “It’s such a shame that you thought you had to go through this. I’ve respected you since I first saw you on BD, but this looks painful and such a beautiful woman doesn’t need. 🤗 I don’t hate you, I’m just worried xo.”
Another follower wrote: “I appreciate this is your choice, but like any surgical procedure the risks should be known, especially when promoting to young women.”
Dre, who has a paid partnership with Snatched West, revealed last month that he had undergone surgery along with fellow former reality stars.
“I partnered with @_snatchedwaist and flew to Sanur, Bali for waist tightening surgery, which involves softening the waist area under minimally invasive ultrasound guidance and then wearing a corset for 12 weeks to tighten the waist,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
She added, “After having my baby, my ribs flared and I’ve always wanted to have an hourglass waist, so I was really excited about this surgery.”
In an attached video, she insisted this was “not a PR stunt” and explained her experience. She said the surgery took 45 minutes and she stayed in a five-star hotel to recover.
Earlier this month, just two weeks into her recovery, she posted a video of herself wearing black lingerie and a black corset, and already seemed happy with the results.
Snatched West describes the procedure as “rib recontouring” accomplished by liposuction of the waist, fracturing and reshaping of the lower ribs via ultrasound, and then wearing a corset during recovery to hold the ribs in their new position.
Total cost is $14,870.
Dre was the third stewardess in the second season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, which aired in 2021 and was set in Croatia. He starred in the reality show for only one season.
She gave birth to son River George Thompson with boyfriend Bennie Thompson in August 2021.
