There’s no royal family like the UK, so it’s no surprise that the country would welcome a Disney princess-themed musical experience.
‘Disney Princesses – The Concert’ will premiere in Warwick in March 2027, followed by an extensive tour across the UK and Ireland, including stops in Swansea, Brighton, Hull, Manchester, Sheffield, York, Birmingham and London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Featuring a variety of yet-to-be-announced Broadway and West End stars singing iconic songs from the Disney canon, the one-hour and 45-minute experience promises to include life-size animation and theatrical effects that will immerse audiences in a magical world.
The production will include songs from more than 29 movies, including “Part of Your World” from “The Little Mermaid,” “A Whole New World” from “Aladdin,” “Just Around the Riverbend” from “Pocahontas,” “Almost There” from “Frozen,” and “Let It Go” from “Frozen.”
“Relive the glory days of VHS, don your favorite royal costume, and share the joy of Disney with your loved ones with this internationally acclaimed concert experience,” the press release reads. “Become a part of our world with Disney Princess – The Concert!”
The full cast will be announced later this summer.
Since its premiere in 2021, the show has already performed in 20 countries across five continents, including two U.S. tours featuring more than 100 cities.
“Disney Princess – The Concert” is produced for London by Disney Concerts, Broadway Princess Party, Cuff & Taylor and Live Nation.
