A star is born.
The 20-year-old daughter of actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes is preparing to star in the iconic play based on William Shakespeare, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
Suri Cruise, who exchanged her famous father’s last name and her famous mother’s middle name Noel when she graduated from New York City’s LaGuardia High School in June 2024, is set to appear in “Midsummer!,” a modern take on “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
The 90-minute production will be performed by Suri and Carnegie Mellon University students at the Trust Arts Education Center’s Perth Studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Two shows will be performed on July 31st and August 1st, with the cast and crew bringing their talents across the pond.
‘Midsummer!’ will be premiered in the UK at the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which runs from August 7th to August 31st.
Page Six also reveals that Suri, who recently completed her sophomore year at Carnegie Mellon University, is studying musical theater at the university’s theater department, after previously appearing to be “leaning” toward pursuing a degree in fashion.
In March, she played the character Angel in a one-night-only reading called “Cosmic Microwave Background” at Pittsburgh’s New Hazlett Theater as part of the CSA: Off the Pages series.
Suri has been honing her acting skills for years, as Page Six previously revealed that she played the lead role in a high school play.
In December 2023, an impressed audience member enthusiastically told us that the then-senior who played Morticia Addams in “The Addams Family: The New Musical” was “amazing.”
We were also told at the time that her show profile gave a shoutout to her teachers, castmates, and staff, and made no mention of her celebrity parents.
Tom, a practicing Scientologist, and Suri had long been estranged, but Tom and Holmes gave birth to their only child in April 2006 and married seven months later.
After the Top Gun star, 64, and Dawson’s Creek star, 47, divorced in August 2012, Suri lived with her mother, who she admitted in recent years “kind of grew up with”.
Tom is also the father of daughter Isabella “Bella” Cruz, 33, and son Connor Cruise, 31, whom he adopted from his marriage to second wife Nicole Kidman.
Prior to his 11-year marriage to Kidman, Tom was married from 1987 to 1990 to Mimi Rogers, who is credited with introducing him to the Church of Scientology.
