Chrissy Teigen has defended her decision to bare her breasts for a “risque” photo shoot.
In the image taken by fashion designer Yu Tsha and shared on Instagram on Sunday, the model flaunted one breast in a sheer white top.
However, after seeing the reaction to her post online, Teigen explained that she did not consider the photo to be overtly sexual.
“I don’t think nipples (especially mine) are sexy or risqué, as they’ve been disked and reattached to my body about three times and fed to babies and such, but I’m sorry if that’s the case,” she wrote in the comments section of the post.
The 40-year-old supermodel added: “I hope you survive 🙏🙏🙏, I’m sure you will. I love you so much.”
Despite her explanation, Teigen’s post was flooded with negative comments.
“Who wants attention??” one fan commented, to which Teigen replied, “I think so. Thank you so much.”
Another critic wrote: “How dare a girl wear a bra.”
“It’s crazy how much attention celebrities need,” someone else said.
Another follower told Teigen she’s “too old” to post pictures of her breasts.
However, other fans defended Teigen for baring it all in the photo.
One fan praised her, saying, “She’s classy and beautiful…Mom, don’t be embarrassed.”
Another commenter wrote: “Beautiful photo! End of discussion.”
Teigen’s husband, John Legend, defended her by commenting with a heart-eye emoji.
The mother-of-four previously revealed that she started working in the boob industry when she was 20.
“It was more like a swimsuit,” she told Glamor UK in August 2020. “If I was going to pose on my back, I wanted it to be healthy!”
However, Teigen noted that after having her child, her breasts “filled up with milk and deflated,” joking, “Now I’m a mess.”
Years later, Teigen gushed on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that she “had my boobs done three times.”
“I’ve had them lifted, put them in, and taken them out. I don’t like taking them out,” she shared in January 2024.
