Ariana Grande has rescheduled three upcoming shows for her “Eternal Sunshine” tour.
The singer announced Monday that he would be rescheduling his July 12 performance at New York’s Barclays Center to July 14, as well as rescheduling two concerts at Boston’s TD Garden. The two performances originally scheduled for July 22nd and July 24th will be held on July 23rd and July 26th, respectively.
In a statement posted to her Instagram Stories, Grande explained that the schedule was being changed due to production issues. In particular, this is to “ensure safe distribution” of all of the program’s works.
And as intended. ”
“We are very sorry to make this unfortunate schedule change,” she wrote. “We recognized these production challenges and this was the best and safest option.”
“The most important thing for all of us is to be safe first and foremost and to make sure everyone sees the show for what it’s meant to be,” she continued. “Thank you for your understanding. I can’t wait to meet you.”
All tickets will remain valid for the new dates.
Grande, 33, kicked off her long-awaited tour in support of her seventh album, Eternal Sunshine, on June 6th in Oakland, California. She will perform across the United States and will also perform in Canada and London.
The tour is scheduled to conclude on September 1st with a performance at London’s O2 Arena.
Earlier this month, the Thank You Next singer broke down in tears on stage and addressed her fans after news broke that she had split from her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater after three years together.
“It’s so overwhelming, in the most beautiful way ever,” she emotionally said as the audience applauded her at her show at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The Grammy winner thanked her fans for being “such a loving and safe presence” in her life “throughout every chapter and all these years.”
“It’s been seven years since I’ve been on stage in front of you, and you’ve been by my side and supporting me,” she said.
Grande recently reunited with another former dancer, Ricky Alvarez. However, after photos of the two getting cozy started circulating on social media, a source told TMZ, “There is nothing romantic between Ariana and Ricky at this time.”
