A possible nod to one of Taylor Swift’s songs added to the buzz outside Madison Square Garden on Monday, days before Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were scheduled to celebrate their wedding at the iconic Midtown venue.
Page Six spotted several vendors preparing for the large event at MSG, including a lighting company, a plumbing and draping company, a transportation services company, and several unmarked trucks.
Staff could be seen unloading large items wrapped in tarpaulins from a parked semi-trailer truck. A forklift was also seen moving a huge trunk filled with unknown inventory.
However, Page Six obtained a photo of a box labeled “40-inch Mirrorball” being dropped off at the property, which could be an homage to Swift’s hit song “Mirrorball” from her 2020 “Folklore” album. (Last year, Swift told Harper’s Bazaar that the melody was one of her favorite songs she had ever written.)
Other vendors turned the ordeal into a covert operation, some going so far as to cover up their company name, logo, and phone number with tape.
Dozens of spotlights, chairs, and a concert stage were also seen loaded into the MSG.
There are “No Parking” signs around MSG and a project that reads “INT Performance at MSG” from June 20th to July 4th.
Several employees on site told us they were not informed about the identity of the customer they were setting up.
One worker told Page Six: “We are kept in the dark. Everything is being done very strictly.”
The lighting company had no comment, and a spokesperson for the plumbing and draping business did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Page Six reported in April that the “Love Story” singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end would wed on the weekend of July 3rd.
Last month, sources confirmed to Page Six that the reception would be held at MSG, where Swift has performed numerous shows throughout her music career.
New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani dropped a major clue about the impending wedding earlier this month while discussing security for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“I have full confidence in the efforts of the NYPD and our state partners to provide a safe experience,” the politician said at a press conference at the time.
“We are the largest city in this country,” he continued. “We are used to big events, so we are very excited about this one.”
He added, “I know it coincides with the Knicks going to the (NBA) Finals, I know it coincides with America’s 250th anniversary on July 4th, and Taylor Swift’s wedding, but it’s all happening at the same time and we’re so excited to welcome the world here.”
City Hall later confirmed to the Post that a permit had been submitted to the city’s Street Permit Office from July 2nd to July 4th. The application called for roads surrounding MSG to be closed and a public tent large enough to accommodate 999 people to be set up outside the venue. Winick Production could not be reached for comment.
Page Six also confirmed that it has permission for a small event of 100 people on Thursday, which sources say will be a rehearsal dinner.
Although the exact date of the wedding remains unknown, Page Six has confirmed that Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are scheduled to perform at what some sources are calling Kelsea and Swift’s “wedding venue.”
Page Six also revealed that the couple hired celebrity wedding planner Marc Seed to help conceptualize the party.
A-list guests expected to attend this year’s wedding include Adrien Brody, Sombre, Zoe Kravitz, the Haim sisters and Gigi Hadid. Meanwhile, Page Six exclusively revealed that Miles Teller and his wife Kelly Sperry missed the invitation.
The “New Heights” podcaster, 36, proposed to Swift, 36, in August 2025 after two years of dating.
