Amid rumors of mysterious preparations and multiple celebrations, posts from top wedding vendors are sparking speculation that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are already married.
Rumors continue to swirl that the couple will secretly tie the knot ahead of their big day at Madison Square Garden this week. And over the weekend, a celebrity wedding vendor insider wrote a breathtakingly cryptic post about working on a once-in-a-career event. However, that is said to be a false alarm. This bash was for MSG’s other love, the Knicks.
Wedding designer Rishi Patel, who was previously rumored to be working on Swift and Kelsea’s wedding, posted an emotional message on his Instagram that hinted at the big event.
“Today, I asked 23 of my colleagues if, when they started in the events industry (7 to 45 years), would they have dreamed or imagined being a part of what we have produced today? …The answer was unanimously no,” he wrote.
He continued, “That in itself means more than I can explain.”
“I can’t wait to share what we’ve created,” he added. “But for now, I will just be forever grateful to those who have meant more to me than I can explain.”
A source told Page Six: “Rishi is very high-level and always works with huge clients, so for this to be a deal this big…it’s all Taylor coded.”
Samantha Roberts, who runs a social media agency known for “strategically orchestrating wedding releases and creating digital moments that ripple across the internet,” also posted about her excitement about working on the same event.
“Tonight was a career highlight,” Roberts wrote. “Fifteen years ago, I came to New York because I love events. I dreamed of one day working on an event like tonight.”
She tagged celebrity wedding planning guru Marcy Blum.
But Blum said the party wasn’t for the American royal couple, but rather “a great summer party for one of my favorite clients.”
“We were working with some of our favorite crew members that we work with frequently,” Blum explained. “Designed by Rishi. Catered by Olivier Cheng. Photographed by Alan Zepeda. And there was a lot of celebrity talent, including Jerry Seinfeld, the Knicks, the Rockets, and Chris Martin.”
“It looked like Taylor because of all the security, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case,” Blum admitted, along with top-level staff.
Blum officiated the wedding of LeBron and Savannah James. Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick. Billy Joel and Katie Lee. Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent later posted a reel of the New York Knicks’ lavish party on social media.
Robert’s post also tagged Alan Zepada, a top wedding photographer whose photos have appeared in Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. He frequently collaborates with Blum on events and photographed Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s wedding.
As first reported by Page Six, Swift and Kelsea are planning a big wedding event this week at Madison Square Garden, but rumors of them “getting married” in advance persist.
Sources previously told Page Six that many in the singer’s audience had long believed the actual vows would take place before the weekend’s event at a New York arena.
The pair are planning a small get-together on July 2nd, followed by a huge party the following day at the iconic New York spot with guests including Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, the Haim sisters, Sombre, Suki Waterhouse, Cara Delevingne, Mariska Hargitay and Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid.
