Is this Taylor Swift’s ultimate makeup song for the Knicks?
Page Six can exclusively confirm that Taylor Swift will be attending Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden.
A source said, “She’s a big Knicks fan and would love to go there and support them. She’s going with her friends.”
The Grammy Award winner, 36, recently caused a stir among New Yorkers when she attended a game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Knicks with her fiancé, Travis Kelce, who was dressed head to toe in Ohio State team merchandise.
But the NFL player insisted to New Heights listeners last week that he wasn’t “trying to convince” Taylor to “become a Cleveland sports fan with me.”
“This was just a fun date night, knowing that I love going to basketball games. We actually tried to go to a game in New York, but ended up stuck in Kansas City. I love bringing her into the world of sports, which I appreciate,” he explained.
“Obviously, being a lifelong Cleveland sports fan, bringing Tay back to Cleveland and showing her her roots is always something I love to do,” the Super Bowl champion continued.
Kelce, who grew up in suburban Cleveland Heights, Ohio, admitted it was “hard” to watch the Cavaliers lose to the Knicks, but he plans to “root for” the New York team “from now on.”
Swift has lived in New York since 2014 and has shown her support for the Knicks many times over the years, most notably at Karlie Kloss’s wedding, where she plans to attend.
Kelsey, also 36, is planning to wed in the Big Apple next month, at Madison Square Garden, the NBA team’s home stadium.
Multiple sources confirmed the massive venue to Page Six last week, with one person joking that “billions could transform the space.”
Elite wedding planner Sonal Shah later told the Post that the wedding at the arena is scheduled to take place over the weekend of July 3rd and could cost Swift and Kelsea $20 million.
In addition to “catering, entertainment, and décor,” she noted, “spending a weekend night in one of the world’s most iconic venues means not just renting the space, but also paying for exclusivity, staffing, security, operations, and the opportunity costs of concerts and sporting events that might otherwise take place.”
Swift was named a billionaire by Forbes magazine in 2024, and Kelce has an estimated net worth of $47.3 million.
The duo has been together since 2023, and the Kansas City Chiefs player took a knee last summer.
A representative for MSG declined to comment.
