Amal Clooney knows how to make an entrance.
The human rights lawyer accompanied husband George Clooney to the Chaplin Awards Gala in New York City on Monday night, ditching the typical fashion recipe and opting for a purple Balenciaga minidress and flashy jewelry.
She upped the glamor with dazzling Panthère de Cartier tassel earrings that retail for a whopping $124,000.
Set in 18k gold, it features the iconic leopard’s head on top, cascading cascading chains encrusted with 2.5 carats of diamonds.
Her off-the-shoulder dress, on the other hand, boasted a voluminous top and slim miniskirt, with a long sash that cascaded down the back.
Her dress was straight out of Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Spring 2026 Balenciaga runway, with the barrister veering away from recent trends towards vintage style in favor of a new look.
She wore gold metallic heels that accentuated her legs and accessorized her look with a Begum Khan clutch.
The last time Amal stretched her legs after work was back in January, when she traded in her vintage Balmain Golden Globes dress for a 2022 Versace chainmail dress.
Meanwhile, George, the night’s honoree, exclusively told Page Six on the red carpet that he plans to take a step back in his career and instead focus on the Clooney Foundation for Justice, which he founded with Amal.
“I’m not chasing a career anymore, so I’m going to do something that I think is more fulfilling,” he told Us.
