Taylor Frankie Paul ignored criticism over her social media activity while her “world literally exploded.”
The reality star hit back at social media users who begged her 31-year-old girlfriend to “stop calling” over the weekend.
On Saturday, a fan asked, “Why is she commenting back on people and reposting TikToks?…I’d like to say her team should take her phone away, but they don’t. She’s literally reposting TikToks that support her and commenting back on people on Instagram.”
He highlighted a comment from Paul that “(I’m) always fine…and yes, that’s my job…I still have to work.”
Paul replied, “Can I just stare at the wall instead?”
TikTok users commented that she said, “So true… literally so. You should think about the gravity of what you’ve done.”
The comments come nearly a week after production on Season 5 of Mormon Housewives was halted as Paul and his ex Dakota Mortensen were investigated for a domestic violence incident due to “allegations from both parties.”
On Thursday, a 2023 video was released showing Paul throwing a chair at the Dad Tok star, 33, during a violent confrontation, which led to her arrest at the time.
Then, her season of “The Bachelorette” was canceled days before it was scheduled to air.
Paul, who is also the mother of eight-year-old daughter Indi and five-year-old son Ocean with ex-husband Tate Paul, later the same day accused Mortensen of being an “aggressive and jealous ex-partner” who refuses to move on.
The statement continued: “After years of enduring extensive emotional and physical abuse and threats of retaliation in silence, Taylor has finally found the strength to confront her accusers and is taking steps to ensure she and her children are protected from further harm.”
Meanwhile, Mortensen wrote, “Unfortunately, I am accustomed to unsubstantiated claims about me and our relationship, which I categorically deny.”
Mortensen was granted “temporary custody” of his 2-year-old son, Ever, after filing a protection order against his on-again, off-again girlfriend on Thursday.
She claimed Paul strangled her with a necklace during a “chaotic” and “frightening” argument in front of the toddler.
Paul will not be given “parental time” until a court hearing on April 7, when he will speak.
So far, Paul has been making waves on social media after wearing a sweater and sending out a cheeky message that read, “I can’t wait to sleep with you.”
She recently responded to rumored Bachelorette winner Doug Mason’s show of support, writing, “Oh my heart goes out to him ❤️🩹. So sweet.”
When a fan accused Paul of being online, she claimed, “[I’m]always online…and yeah, that’s my job…I still have to work.”
