For the first time, Variety presents TV Week. It’s a dynamic, invitation-only event designed exclusively for TV Academy voters and guild members during the height of Emmy season.

The first in a series of four-day events from May 5th to 8th will break through the noise of a crowded FYC to deliver thoughtfully curated programming highlighting the creative voices shaping today’s television.

Variety’s TV Week brings together top-tier directing, writing, acting and producing talent to deliver an intimate and impactful series of experiences. Each event is designed to foster meaningful conversations, elevate outstanding work, and create memorable moments that resonate with key decision makers.

The week begins with “High Tea: Celebrating Women Directors,” an elegant afternoon gathering combined with a forum-style discussion celebrating this year’s Emmy-nominated female directors. This event spotlights the visionary women behind some of television’s most captivating storytelling.

Next up, TV FYC Fest is back. Top creators, actors, and craftsmen will gather for engaging, genre-specific panel discussions moderated by variety editors. These conversations will delve into the creative processes and cultural influences behind some of the year’s most talked about series.

Midweek “Night in the Writer’s Room” provides a rare glimpse into the craft of television writing, bringing together top writers for an evening of candid discussion about the ideas, challenges and collaborations that drive today’s standout shows.

Rounding out this week’s events, “Sip & Spin with Supporting Stars” offers a more playful, high-energy format with standout supporting actors participating in a lively, game-driven event hosted by Variety’s Michael Schneider and Emily Longeretta.

“TV Week leverages our unique position at the heart of the entertainment industry to continue connecting talent, artisans and voters in ways that are impactful and resonant,” said Variety Associate Publisher Donna Pennestri. “We’re excited to not only celebrate excellence in television, but also drive meaningful engagement during the season’s most exciting moments.”

Stay tuned for further event details and program announcements.
