Cardi B and Stefon Diggs reportedly broke up because he “cheated on her multiple times.”
“They always have their ups and downs,” a source told Us Weekly of the pair, who parted ways “a few days” after Diggs and the New England Patriots lost to the Seattle Seahawks in the 2026 Super Bowl.
“This is not the first time the two have broken up,” the source added.
“He betrayed her many times. Her friends tried to show her that he wasn’t right for her and that she deserved better.”
Cardi is now “single and putting herself out there again,” the source revealed, adding, “She’s feeling free.”
A source told the outlet that the Grammy winner was “concentrating on her music right now and realized she didn’t want to worry about him while on tour.”
Page Six reached out to representatives for Cardi and Diggs, but did not immediately receive a response.
Rumors surfaced that Cardi, 33, and Diggs, 32, announced their retirement after the Super Bowl earlier this month.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper left Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., shortly after performing at Bad Bunny’s star-studded halftime show. She didn’t stay behind to cheer on her boyfriend for the second half of the game.
Additionally, Cardi and the wide receiver unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Diggs was also spotted with Prie, the woman with whom Cardi’s ex-husband Offset allegedly had an affair.
In a video shared by the NFL, Diggs greeted Pree and other friends and family before kickoff, telling them he loved them.
Prie was also seen on the field with the Patriots wearing a certificate granting him access to their team hotel.
Earlier this month, Cardi confirmed the split bill while in Los Angeles on her Little Miss Drama Tour.
“Let me tell you something, just because I don’t have sex with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you can talk about my baby daddy, bitch! This is for you, bitch!” she said, according to a viral video shared online.
The “I Like It” host and Diggs began dating in 2025 and made their relationship official on Instagram in June of last year.
They welcomed a son in November 2025, but his name has not yet been made public.
Diggs has five children with five other women. Four of the babies were born in 2025.
Cardi is currently divorced from Offset, 34, and has three children with her, Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1.
