Ariana Grande reposted a photo of her holiday celebration with boyfriend Ethan Slater as part of her Instagram Story on Friday. In Two Boomerangs, Grande wears an all-black ensemble of a mock turtleneck shirt and black sweats while sitting on a couch with her dog.
The first post shows her bending over the dog and giving it a scratch, while the second shows her smiling at the camera with pink emojis drawn above them both. She wears her hair in a bun and wears a white headband and diamond stud earrings.

In other photos on Grande’s Instagram Story, she is seen with several guests, including her Wicked co-star Bowen Yang. Grande hosted Saturday Night Live last week, which was also Yang’s final episode on the iconic sketch show. Slater appeared in a photo shared by her friend Liz Gillies, supporting the actress and singer on her third hosting of the series.
The couple rarely comments about each other publicly. Around the same time last year, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Grande and Slater were considering getting engaged in the future.
“They are grateful and enjoying this moment both professionally and personally,” the source said. “They consider each other ‘The One’ but are in no rush to get engaged. However, they recognize that it’s something that’s happening with each other.”
In September, Slater talked about ‘Grande to People’ when discussing how fans were fighting over tickets to his Eternal Sunshine Tour.
“Ali’s fans are incredibly, incredibly passionate about supporting her, and that’s amazing,” Slater said. “I really hope I have another chance to see her perform.”
