Toho has released the trailer and key visual for the world tour “My Hero Academia in Concert”.

Produced by GEA Live, the tour will kick off at Pacifico Yokohama National Hall in Japan on May 30, 2026, before expanding to international venues.

This touring production transforms the popular anime series into a live cinema concert experience, featuring the band performing composer Yuki Hayashi’s music to accompany scenes from the show’s eight seasons displayed on a large screen. The performance will showcase iconic battles, emotional moments, and signature character scenes from across the decade of the series.

Hayashi’s songs, including fan-favorite theme songs “You Say Run” and “You Can Become a Hero,” will be performed live to accompany the visuals that unfold on screen, aiming to capture the tension, triumph, and emotional stakes that characterize the series.

“This concert offers fans a powerful new way to experience the stories they love,” said Floris Douwes, producer and managing director of GEA Live. “Mr. Hayashi’s score is the emotional heartbeat of My Hero Academia. When performed live, every note raises the stakes: victory, defeat, and determination to define what it means to be a hero.”

The concert aims to honor the legacy of the series for both long-time fans and newcomers through what organizers call a high-energy collective experience.

Kohei Horikoshi’s manga “My Hero Academia” is set in a world where approximately 80% of the population has supernatural powers called Quirks. The story depicts Izuku Midoriya and his classmates training to become professional heroes at UA High School. The animated series concluded its eighth and final season in fall 2025.

GEA Live produces location-based entertainment for brands such as PlayStation, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Demon Slayer and composer Ennio Morricone, and operates as part of Sony Music’s Masterworks Live division. The company has held shows in more than 40 countries.
