Aubrey O’Day is ready to forgive himself, but Sean “Diddy” Combs is not out of danger.

The Danity Kane alum dodged a question about whether she could forgive the Bad Boy Productions founder’s rape charges in an interview with CBS News on Tuesday.

“Do I forgive him? I don’t think it matters to the big picture,” she said. “I think he needs to try to forgive himself.”

After appearing on Diddy’s show “Making the Band” in 2005, O’Day, who worked closely with Diddy and later became a founding member of the now-defunct girl group, was able to do some inner work on herself.

“I forgive myself. It was hard,” she said. “The feeling I’ve had through all of this is, ultimately, to forgive myself for the abuse, the attention, or the misplaced perception of love.

“They were never the same. So I had to forgive myself first.”

O’Day, 41, also said he did not believe justice had been served for Didi, who is currently in prison.

“I want to help people, represent the vulnerable, and represent unheard voices,” she said. “And I wasn’t necessarily able to live my purpose most of my life.”

O’Day appears in Netflix’s shocking documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning, in which she discusses a witness’ affidavit alleging that she was sexually assaulted by the rapper.

Witnesses claim Ms O’Day was raped by Diddy and another man.

The affidavit alleges Combs and another man sexually assaulted O’Day while she “appeared to be highly intoxicated.”

O’Day has no recollection of the incident, saying in the document, “Does this mean I was raped? Is this what it means? I don’t even know if I was raped, and I don’t want to know.”

The pop star told CBS News that witness accounts have been “consistent for two years in every area I’ve been to,” but she still doesn’t know if she was assaulted.

Combs, 56, said in a statement that he “categorically denies the allegations made in the Netflix documentary.”

The four-part special, executive produced by Diddy’s industry nemesis 50 Cent, features archival footage and explosive interviews that reveal Diddy’s rise to fame, sexual misconduct allegations, “freak-off” allegations and subsequent downfall.

The “I’ll Be Missing You” artist was arrested in September 2024 during a sex trafficking investigation.

Months earlier, in 2016, a video surfaced of Combs punching his ex-girlfriend, Kathy Ventura, in a hotel hallway. Kathy later testified at Diddy’s trial, sharing harrowing testimony about years of alleged abuse by Combs.

Dozens of other men and women have come forward with sexual misconduct accusations against the hip-hop mogul.

In July, Combs was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of sex trafficking and extortion charges.

Mr. Combs was sentenced to four years in federal prison.
