There’s something beautiful about Miley Cyrus’ left ring finger.
The 33-year-old pop star showed off her brand new engagement ring on the Avatar: Fire and Ash red carpet on Monday, showing off the jewelry while posing arm-in-arm with fiancé Max Morando.
The cushion-cut sparkler is a 14k gold creation by celebrity jewelry designer Jackie Aish, a company representative told Page Six Style.
Marion Fassel, a jewelry historian and founder of online jewelry magazine The Adventurine, told Page Six Style that the stone is a natural diamond set east-west. “Given the rising price of gold, it’s no surprise that it plays almost as big a role as diamonds in my work,” she says.
“The design is in the same fashion as Dua Lipa’s engagement ring,” Fassel continues. “Other than that, there isn’t much precedent historically. This is a new trend in engagement rings. Previously, this style was worn on the right hand. It has a heavy look and feel, which is why I like it as an engagement ring.”
Daniela Tarantino, Blue Nail’s vice president of merchandising, estimated that the ring is a modified cushion approximately 4 to 5 carats and is estimated to cost about $300,000 to $450,000. However, the actual size and price of the eye-catching engagement ring remains a matter of debate, as a representative for the jewelry designer declined to comment.
At the Dolby Theater premiere, Cyrus placed her hand on her boyfriend of four years’ chest, giving photographers a clear view of the rock.
The Grammy winner teamed up with Morando, 27, in a matching all-black look. The “Hannah Montana” alum dazzled in a sequined strapless Gucci dress with a dramatic ruffled train, while Lily’s drummer looked dapper in a classic tuxedo.
Aish has also created many A-list stars’ most sentimental pieces, including Selena Gomez’s custom “B” initial ring for her then-fiancé Benny Blanco and Gigi Hadid’s “Mom” necklace, which she debuted after the birth of her daughter Kai in 2020.
Cyrus has long been a fan of Aish’s work and has accessorized her delicate body chains and diamond earrings on numerous occasions.
She also wore Jackie Aish earrings when she married ex-girlfriend Liam Hemsworth in December 2018. The couple dated on and off for 10 years, but broke up after less than a year of marriage.
News of the engagement comes just months after Hemsworth announced his engagement to model Gabriella Brooks in September 2025.
