Sidney Sweeney is painting the town red ahead of the holidays.
The 28-year-old actress appeared in New York City on Monday wearing two monochrome looks while promoting her new psychological thriller film, The Housemaid.
Sweeney started her ruby day at the taping of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” wearing a cranberry satin midi dress by Australian designer Alex Perry. The body-skimming number featured long sleeves, a bateau neckline, and a sash that hung around the waist.
She paired the burgundy design with matching red pumps and wore a vintage D&G coat against the December chill.
Later that night, the “White Lotus” alum, who works with celebrity stylist Molly Dixon, showed up in Soho for dinner at The Corner Store in a fire-engine red ensemble.
This time, she opted for a festive custom Patul look. A bright red cropped jacket with an off-the-shoulder collar is paired with a bubble-hem miniskirt. She styled the coordinating set with knee-high Magda Butrim boots and black sunglasses.
Sweeney’s hairstylist Glen Coco gave her a sophisticated blowout, switching from her recent go-to Old Hollywood waves to a blonde bob.
The consecutive black-and-white moments come as Sweeney ramps up press for “The Housemaid,” which opens in theaters Dec. 19.
In the film, based on Frieda McFadden’s best-selling 2022 novel, she plays Millie, an ex-convict who takes a job as a live-in maid for a wealthy couple played by Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Skrenner, only to discover that their seemingly perfect life hides dark secrets.
The Paul Feig-directed thriller adds another producer credit to Sweeney’s resume. She is an executive producer along with Seyfried and writer McFadden.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Sweeney spoke with Fallon about the upcoming third season of Euphoria, hinting that his character’s story will focus on “self-discovery.”
She also participated in a game called “What’s Behind Me?” and shared details about her recent “Shreksgiving” celebration with friends.
