La Toya Jackson’s fans expressed further concerns about the singer after she posted a montage of photos showing off her lean figure.
Jackson, 69, posted a photo of herself on Instagram on Monday wearing a red long-sleeved top, black pants and gold pointy heels. She accessorized with a chunky chain belt and a bracelet on her right wrist.
Her slender physique was especially noticeable when she turned to the side.
She captioned the post, “Happy Monday everyone! Have a great week! Stay safe, stay healthy, and lots of love to you all! 😘.”
Although many fans made negative comments about her weight, others defended Jackson by pointing out that she was naturally “petite.”
“LaToya has always been petite and it’s normal for her to lose muscle mass as she gets older,” one fan wrote. “The jokes you guys are making are so unnecessary and disrespectful. You guys wouldn’t have the same energy in person. Grow up 😒.”
“Guys, please don’t be unkind. I think LaToya has some health issues,” another fan pointed out.
Representatives for Mr. Jackson did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Last month, the songwriter shared a cryptic video from a doctor’s office, but did not reveal why he sought medical help.
“Hey guys, I hope you’re all doing well. I’m at the hospital again so I hope everything goes well and all the outcomes are good,” she shared on Instagram.
“Sending love and light to you all! ❤️💫,” she captioned the post. “Please stay safe and of course stay healthy!💖”
Her famous family members sent their well wishes to her in the comments section, including nephew Taryll Jackson (son of late brother Tito Jackson) and niece Brandi Jackson (daughter of brother Jackie Jackson). Taryl and Brandi commented on her post saying, “I love you.”
La Toya has since shared photos of herself enjoying the holiday season.
