Liev Schreiber was hospitalized in New York City on Sunday after telling doctors he was having a “severe headache.”
The “Spotlight” star’s doctor told him to get tested “immediately” and stay overnight in the hospital, and he is currently undergoing a series of tests, TMZ reported on Monday.
Sources told the magazine that the actor was able to talk and walk without any problems. No other medical information has been disclosed at this time.
“Out of an abundance of caution, Reeve entered the hospital for tests and as of this afternoon has been cleared to return to work,” his representative told the outlet on Monday night.
Representatives for Shriver, 58, did not immediately respond to Page Six for comment.
The Tony Award winner has appeared in several projects over the years, including films such as “Scream,” “Isle of Dogs,” “Spotlight,” and “Small Lights” and television series such as “Ray Donovan.”
He played Ray Donovan in the seven-season series, which ran from 2013 to 2020.
Most recently, he played Tug Winberry in the 2024 Netflix drama The Perfect Couple, alongside Nicole Kidman as his on-screen wife, Greer Garrison Winberry.
In his personal life, Shriver married Taylor Neisen in July 2023 after dating for about six years.
The following month, the couple welcomed their first child, Hazel Bee.
Shriver is also the father of Sasha, 18, and Kai, 16, with actress Naomi Watts, 57.
The two dated for 11 years before breaking up in September 2016.
But Shriver and the “Mulholland Drive” star have been on a united front for years, reuniting at Sasha’s high school graduation in June.
At the time, the former couple were smiling happily next to their son.
Another photo showed Watts and Shriver, who is married to Billy Crudup, posing with their respective spouses.
Watts and the “Morning Show” star began dating in 2017 and tied the knot in 2023.
