Teresa Giudice has revealed that she has reconciled with her estranged brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga after a nearly 15-year feud.
“Everyone came out. I’m so thankful and grateful,” Judith said Friday during BravoCon’s Housewives 2 Housewives panel discussion at Caesars Palace, People magazine reported.
As if to prove there were no hard feelings, 51-year-old Joe (who also appears on The Real Housewives of New Jersey with Judith and Melissa) showed up at her sister’s table where she and husband Luis Ruelas were signing merchandise for fans.
A TikTok video taken by a fan showed Joe bringing along his sister, 53, and Ruelas, 50, for a hug. Lurus responded to Joe’s gesture and kissed him on the cheek.
As Gia Giudice told PEOPLE while chatting on the red carpet, the truce is reflected in her extended family, too, saying she buried the hatchet with her aunt and uncle.
“It feels really good,” she told the Family Reunion Press.
“I’m looking forward to the rebuilding road and looking forward to getting to a better place. We’re already there, so yeah, it’s exciting,” the 24-year-old continued. “I’m really happy.”
Teresa first extended an olive branch in September, revealing in an interview on “Jeff Lewis Live” Sirius
“I mean, we’ll have to wait and see,” the Bravolebrity said at the time, adding, “We’ll just have to let it go and move on.”
Shortly after, Melissa expressed confusion about Teresa’s sudden change of heart, telling Page Six that “the door was closed” between the feuding families for some time.
“[Teresa]has been saying out loud on multiple platforms and podcasts and everything that the door is closed. So, to be honest, I’m confused as to why the door is opening or cracking a little bit,” she told Us on Page Six’s “Virtual Reality Awards.”
The following month, Joe responded to his sister’s confession, saying he was willing to “forgive” Teresa, but only on one condition.
“If I’m going to sit down with her and listen to her talk, it has to be very humbling. It has to come from a humble place,” Joe, 51, said on an October episode of the podcast “The Eds.”
“It has to be real, to say, ‘I made a mistake,’ and (then) we can move forward.”
Joe, Melissa, and Teresa became estranged shortly after Melissa joined the series “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” in 2011.
