Cardi B stepped out in New York shortly after announcing that she and Stefon Diggs have given birth to their first child, a baby boy. The rapper attended the opening of Cybex’s new Soho store on Thursday night. She wore the same outfit to the event that she wore in her birth announcement video.
For her first appearance since giving birth to her fourth child, the rapper opted for a head-to-toe black ensemble featuring a cropped puffer jacket with a corseted waist. She finished her look with a bubble-hem miniskirt, open-toed boots, and a wide, structured hat that featured a large bow at the back.
During the event, she helped cut the opening ribbon.
Cardi reflected on this new era in her life in a post on her Instagram, writing, “My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons.” “My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy, but it was worth it! New music and a new album to the world! A new baby in my world. And one more reason to be the best version of me. One more reason to love me more than anyone else. So I can continue to give them the love and life they deserve.”
She also teased what’s to come, saying, “The next chapter is me vs. me!…I’ve gotten my body in shape, my mind in shape and started preparing for the tour. Nothing will stop me from giving you all the best performance of a lifetime!”
Cardi’s representative revealed that Cardi has welcomed her son, saying, “Cardi is healthy and happy.” Sources tell TMZ he arrived last week. Neither Cardi nor her team revealed the exact date of birth or name of their fourth child.
