Heather Gay estimates she has had $200,000 worth of cosmetic surgery done over the years.
The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star, 51, detailed every procedure in an interview with Bustle magazine published Wednesday, calling them “worth every penny.”
“As soon as I had money and time, I thought, ‘I’m going to profit from everything I can get. I can afford it, and looking good is part of my job now,'” she explained. “I always said that if I were richer, I would be prettier.”
Gay admitted, “I’m richer now, and I’m a lot prettier because of it.”
In addition to quarterly Botox and twice-yearly lip fillers, facials, and laser hair removal, she also gets collagen-stimulating treatments, which cost $4,000 each.
Before becoming a Bravolebrity in 2020, the reality star underwent two nose jobs and blepharoplasty, a common surgery to correct droopy eyelids.
“I had both of these surgeries free of charge from the same surgeon, but I think the nose job was about $12,000 and the blepharoplasty was $2,500,” she recalled.
Before splitting from ex-husband Bill Gay, with whom she has three daughters, in 2014, Gay underwent a “mommy makeover” that included a tummy tuck and breast augmentation.
The Bravo star also highlighted the cost of the GLP-1 drug he is using to lose weight, stating that it costs a total of $500 a month.
Plus, she recently upgraded her smile with porcelain veneers that cost $30,000.
Gay defended his appearance by saying he wanted to “change” it, listing each step and explaining why he felt “not ashamed.”
“Beauty standards are becoming more and more artificial for women,” she told the outlet. “It’s really, really hard to be on TV and be surrounded by women who are always looking at themselves and are physically perfect in every way.”
She noted that the “required uniform for a housewife” was “perfect teeth, eyelashes, and hair.”
Gay said, “The more you become a housewife, the more entrenched that idea becomes.”
Last year, Gaye admitted to using Ozempic on “Impact x Nightline” and called body positivity a “big lie.”
In a roundtable discussion in March 2024, she recalled being “pressured” to take semaglutide as a last “hope” and said:
Gay was body-shamed the year before by co-star Mary Cosby, who quipped on Watch What Happens Live, “I’ve never seen a size 14[Gucci]corset.”
In October 2023, she applauded the brand for being “so inclusive.”
