7 minute readIn July 2022, Emily Ratajkowski divorced her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. The two married in 2018 and have one child, a son named Sylvester Apollo, who was born on March 8, 2021. After her divorce, Ratajkowski told Harper’s Bazaar that she is enjoying being single and enjoying the dating scene.
“I’m telling you, I’ve never been single before,” the model explained. “I feel all the emotions. I feel angry, sad, excited. I feel joy. I feel energized. Every day is different. The only good thing I know is that I feel all of them, and that’s great, because I can trust that I’m going to be okay.”
Ratajkowski admitted that she used to be a “pick me girl” because she “wasn’t very good at deciding what I liked.”
“I really wanted to be chosen,” she continued. “It was hard for me to go on a date with someone and think about how much I liked or disliked them. I would think about how they saw me, what that meant, what they wanted from me, what it meant about my self-esteem, etc.”
She added, “That doesn’t happen anymore. So it’s really fun to go to dinner with someone and say, ‘Wow, I really enjoyed this part. I really didn’t like the other part.'”

Andrew Dryden: 2013-2014
Since appearing in Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines in 2013, Ratajkowski has become even more well-known in the entertainment industry. Her first public relationship was with Andrew Dryden, then a creative director and men’s clothing buyer in Los Angeles. However, it didn’t make much of an appearance, and it ended after less than a year. In February 2014, the Inamorata designer dodged questions about their breakup by announcing to those around him that he was single while attending a Super Bowl party.
All Dryden said was, “I’m sorry, I don’t want to talk about it.”
Jeff Magid: 2014-2018
Majid is a Los Angeles musician who was first spotted with Ratajkowski in December 2014. The two reportedly dated for three years and lived together until they broke up in January 2018. The New York Daily News spoke to sources who said the couple had not shared a home for “several weeks.”
“They lived together in his apartment in the trendy arts district of downtown Los Angeles,” the source added. “Emily didn’t make a fuss about them living together publicly, but it was common knowledge among her friends.”
The source continued, “She tried to downplay things in public, but they were once inseparable.”
Sebastian Bear-McClard: 2018-2022
The reasons behind Ratajkowski and Majid’s breakup may never be known, but it’s often speculated that it had something to do with Sebastian Bear-McClard. In February 2018, a month after her breakup with Majid, Ratajkowski announced that she had gotten married.
She shared the news on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Wow, I have a surprise for you. I got married today.”
A source described their whirlwind romance as saying she and Bear-McClard were “part of a group of friends” and he was “no stranger”. My son was born in March 2021.
The couple reportedly separated in July 2022, and Ratajkowski filed for divorce in September 2022. It was rumored that Bear-McClard had cheated on his girlfriend. She got a new place, but they reportedly only spoke through the nanny.
“She hasn’t talked to him because of his (alleged) infidelity, and he hasn’t talked to her because she’s felt shut out of their relationship for the past year,” a source told Us Weekly. “She got an apartment downtown to start a new life away from her ex-boyfriend. They only communicate through their nanny.”
Brad Pitt: September-October 2022
In September 2022, it was reported that the model was in a relationship with actor Brad Pitt.
“[They are]starting to get to know each other,” a source said at the time. “Brad and Emily are just friends, but they like each other and are looking forward to what happens next.”
A source told People that they went on a few casual dates.
“[Pitt]was introduced to Emily by a friend in the art world. There’s an attraction, but nothing serious is going on,” the source said. “She’s obviously gorgeous and she’s also very interested in art. They have a lot to talk about and always have a good time when they’re together. They keep in touch even when they’re not seeing each other.”
By October, things seemed to fizzle out, and by November Pitt was dating current girlfriend Ines de Ramon.
Orazio Lispo: October 2022
Amid the Pitt rumors, Ratajkowski was photographed kissing DJ Orazio Rispo in New York City, and they reportedly went on at least one date. The two were spotted together again in June 2023, but this time they did not kiss.
Pete Davidson: November 2022
In November 2022, a source told Us Weekly that Ratajkowski and comedian Pete Davidson were introduced to each other by a mutual friend.
“Pete makes Emily laugh and he likes how smart she is,” they said, claiming they had been dating for “a few months”.
But things calmed down in December, and another source told People that it was always just for fun.
“Em is single and very happy,” they said. “She always puts her son first, but she enjoys dating when she has time. She enjoys her independence and has no plans to see Pete again. While she enjoyed being with her son, she realized she didn’t want to be anything else. She loves her life right now.”
Jack Greer: December 2022
That same month, she was photographed kissing artist Jack Grier outside her apartment.
Eric Andre: January-February 2023
Like the comedian, Ratajkowski was spotted walking through midtown Manhattan with Eric Andre in early January 2023. They shared a kiss in the Cayman Islands at the end of the month. An eyewitness said: “Emily and Eric looked very cozy on the beach, relaxing by the water. They were kissing and flirting. He was cracking jokes and making everyone laugh.”
She added: “It seemed like a fun friendship. They were hanging out at the bar, drinking cocktails and chatting with everyone. They seemed really happy and relaxed together.”
Around Valentine’s Day, Andre shared a nude photo of himself with Ratajkowski, who is also in the buff. The post has since been deleted.
In March, a source told E! News that Ratajkowski “broke up with Eric days before posting that photo,” adding, “She had nothing to do with the post.”
That same month, Andre said in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine that he was “in the moment” when he took the photo.
“I was drinking wine and she started laughing like she was dying and was like, ‘I have to take a picture of this,'” he recalled. “She took the photo, and we both started arguing, and she said, ‘This is iconic.’ She kept saying, ‘Iconic.’ We both agreed that this was a beautiful image that should be shared with the world.”
He added that it was difficult for them to attract attention.
“It’s more about how I’m concerned about her safety and the safety of people at her level who deal with it… She handled it with grace,” he said.
Harry Styles: March 2023
In March 2023, Ratajkowski was spotted kissing singer Harry Styles in Tokyo, shortly after breaking up with longtime girlfriend Olivia Wilde. In an interview with Spanish Vogue in April, the model spoke about the moment that went viral on social media and the reaction from fans.
“It’s so weird to have an experience and then have the whole world know about it and comment on it,” she says. “I’m just a guy who went from a three-year relationship to a four-year relationship.”
She continued, “It’s been a while since I’ve entered the dating stage…The interest in that particular area is very strange. Not that I’m surprised, but it’s just a small part of my life. Most of my life is focused on my son and my job.”
Regarding the photo with Styles in particular, she said, “I never expected something like this to happen. I think in general there’s a reason why certain celebrities live[in Los Angeles]or have security or don’t go to public restaurants… so the idea of giving up[their freedom]for privacy is something I haven’t considered yet.”
Asked about rumors of a feud between her and Wilde over Styles, Ratajkowski suggested it was just a fictional female rivalry and seemed to allude to Wilde’s alleged conflict with actress Florence Pugh.
“It’s pretty much the same,” she said. “I feel bad for Olivia[Wilde]because she’s had to go through this several times.”
Shabzi: 2024
In the summer of 2024, Ratajkowski was rumored to be dating country music star Shabouzi (real name Collins Chibueze). According to The Cut, they may have met at Michael Rubin’s annual Fourth of July White Party in the Hamptons. A few weeks later, they dined together at Maison Close in Soho and were later seen holding hands at Rema’s album release party. According to a report from Page Six, the two were spotted enjoying some PDA at New York City’s Musica nightclub in August. The model was then spotted at Shabuji’s performance at the Z100 Summer Bash and the screening of “Blink Twice” together. Almost nine months have passed since then, and there have been no reports of any sightings, but since the two have not admitted that they are dating, there is also no information about their breakup.
Romain Gavras: November 2025 to present
On November 10, Ratajkowski was photographed having a romantic evening with French director Romain Gavras in New York City. The two held hands and kissed many times as they strolled around the city.
