They were born as his babies.
When he’s not having fun on stage, Jon Bon Jovi is the proud father of four children with wife Dorothea Hurley.
The high school sweethearts began growing their family in 1993, four years after eloping in Las Vegas.
After the birth of daughter Stephanie, the couple welcomed three sons: Jesse, Jake, and Romeo.
Bon Jovi is no “saint” and admits he “got away with murder” in his marriage, but he and Hurley raised a foursome in New Jersey.

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi
Bon Jovi and Harley became parents in May 1993 when daughter Stephanie was born, and seven years later the songwriter released “I’ve Got the Girl,” a song about her.
Stefani overdosed in 2012, and Bon Jovi later described her hospitalization as a “terrible speed bump” in an interview with People magazine.
“I didn’t need to get any closer to my kids. I couldn’t get any closer,” he said in 2016.
Hurley agreed: “Things happen to a lot of families that you never know about. … We dealt with it as a family.”
Stefani has largely stayed out of the spotlight, but engagement rumors surfaced in February 2024 when Bon Jovi said he wrote a song for her called “Kiss the Bride.”
Two months later, he confirmed to viewers on This Morning that his eldest son was “getting married,” but did not reveal his partner’s name.

Jesse joined the family in February 1995.
After Bon Jovi and Harley’s eldest son graduated from the University of Notre Dame, he started the Hamptons Water Rosé company with his father.
Jesse got engaged to his fiance Jesse Wright in 2022, and they married two years later at the same Sin City chapel where his parents were married.
The couple gave birth to a baby girl named Blair in November 2025.
Jacob “Jake” Harley Bongiovi
Bon Jovi and Harley welcomed their third child, son Jake, in May 2002.
Jake, who started attending Syracuse University in 2020, has been in the news recently for his relationship with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
The two met on Instagram and started dating in 2021.
Jake got down on one knee in 2023 and secretly married the following year in a “small family-friendly” ceremony.
Bon Jovi confirmed his marriage to The One Show viewers in May 2024, gushing that his bride was “gorgeous” and his son “couldn’t be happier.”
The newlyweds appear to have honeymooned in Florida, posting photos from their trip to Universal Studios on Instagram.
The following summer, they adopted a baby girl, whose name has not yet been revealed.

The rocker’s youngest son, Romeo, was born in March 2004 and has kept himself out of the public eye.
However, when Bon Jovi celebrated Romeo’s 17th birthday in 2021, he appeared on Bon Jovi’s Instagram account.
The birthday boy wore a Nirvana T-shirt in the rare photo.
