Denise Richards has been issued a permanent restraining order by her estranged husband Aaron Phypers amid their divorce turmoil.
After an emotional day in court, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Phypers to remain at least 100 yards away from Richards and her workplace until November 7, 2030.
According to Us Weekly, the judge said he is prohibited from contacting her in any way.
Outside court, Phypers, 53, reacted to the judge’s verdict, telling Entertainment Tonight, “I wish it was the other way around.”
The former owner of Quantum360 also expressed that he is not concerned about how this ruling will affect the spousal support hearing scheduled for January 5, 2026.
“I know the truth. This may be hidden for some time,” he continued to the outlet after the hearing. “I’m going to reset it a little bit, but I’ll be fine.”
As for next steps, Phypers said he is looking forward to “taking a break” while he returns home and “prepares for the next show.”
Representatives for Richards and Fipers did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Fipers filed for divorce from Richards, 54, in July after nearly seven years of marriage.
The “Denise Richards and the Wild Things” star took the ex-lovers back to court in October, seeking an extension of a temporary restraining order against the Phypers.
In harrowing testimony, Ms Richards claimed in court that Ms Phypers had repeatedly assaulted her and that her husband had given her “at least three concussions” during their relationship.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum claimed that Phypers “slammed[her]into a concrete wall and hit[her]head” during the incident, which allegedly occurred between March and May 2022.
Ms Phypers previously accused Ms Richards of abusing painkillers and alcohol, which she denies, but in court she responded to Richards’ claims by telling her lawyer that her ex-boyfriend “bruises easily”.
He also testified that he had no recollection of her encountering a black eye. However, he acknowledged that there appeared to be “hurt” in her eyes around January 17, 2022, when Mr Richards claimed the physical incident occurred.
“She had bruises on her arms and all kinds of bruises. She would get bruises while cooking and she would fall down,” he testified, adding that he witnessed Richards getting injured “frequently.”
At a court hearing later that month, Phypers was arrested on charges of spousal abuse.
He was charged with two felonies of injuring a spouse and two felonies of dissuading a witness by force or intimidation.
The reality star was first granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-girlfriend on July 16 after she claimed Phypers once gave her a black eye during an argument.
At the time the temporary restraining order was granted, sources close to Mr Phypers denied the allegations of abuse against him, claiming to the Daily Mail that Mr Richards had been injured while drinking.
