During the WGA and SAG-AFTRA walkout in Los Angeles, Quaid shared an Instagram selfie with Dumit and captioned it, “Still here! Cheering on our amazing @sagaftra bargaining committee to achieve DEEEEEAL! We made this #sagaftrastrong.”

In an interview with People magazine, Quaid revealed his plans for Valentine’s Day with Dumit. “I’m making fun plans with my girlfriend,” he said. “We’re going to Disneyland. That would be great. It’s going to be nice.”

Dumit spoke about working with Quaid in an interview with Decider. “Working with Jack is always so much fun. He gives you so much, and he’s so wild that it’s almost hard not to laugh,” she said. “So whenever there’s a big moment, you have to be laser-focused on when the scene starts.”
She added, “But I had endless fun working with Jack, and I think there was a real journey between Vicky and Hughie over the course of the season.” Dumit continued, “Hughie is like her only real friend. Even though he’s lying 99 percent of the time, there’s an element of that friendship where he feels like he can be himself, and that’s a very foreign environment for Victoria Newman. So it’s really beautiful for her to be able to have that,[even if]she can have even one percent of that with Hughie.”

Speaking about his Sunday routine, he said, “Claudia or I usually make the coffee. I’ve always had a set morning routine. I don’t mean to sound too silly, but I’ve never actually been here, haven’t been in at least a year, so every time I get home I just want to have a cup of coffee. Every day I have a set routine. What I do is wake up, have some coffee, and put on a record, and it’s usually Nick Drake’s Pink Moon or Arlo Parks’ Super Sad Generation.” Sometimes it’s a Marty Robbins gunfighter ballad or a trail song, and it’s a good way to start the day. ”
