I Love LA explores both platonic and romantic love.
The new HBO series centers on Maia (Rachel Sennott), a New Yorker turned Angeleno, whose estranged best friend Talulah (Odessa Azion) shows up unannounced at her home in Los Angeles. The main cast also includes Dylan (Josh Hutcherson), Charlie (Jordan Firstman), and Alani (True Whitaker).
Although Hutcherson is the only main cast member to publicly date, several guest actors, including Leighton Meester and Elijah Wood, are also married.
Sennott, who created, produced and wrote the comedy series, told Variety ahead of the show’s release that her first major solo project was inspired by learning to love a place rather than a person.
“Whenever I feel unhappy, I think, ‘I have to move and change everything.’ Whenever I go back to New York for work, I think, ‘This is what I have to do,'” she told the outlet.
Sennott continued, “I said, ‘I want to break up with my boyfriend and go back home and drink every night.'” And then I did that for a week, and I was like, “Wait a minute.” I need to go back to LA and be in my backyard. ” ”
Here’s everything you need to know about the real-life partners of the “I Love LA” cast.

Sennott, who is the show’s creator and writer and also plays Maia, appears to be single.
Previously, Sennott dated fellow actor Logan Miller for several years. She told Paper magazine in 2020 that she was dating someone during the coronavirus pandemic, but she didn’t reveal who. At the same time, Miller began posting photos of herself and Sennott on Instagram.
However, their relationship appears to have fizzled out by mid-2024.
Before dating Miller, the Saturday Night star told Forbes in 2020 that she originally got into the comedy world through someone she dated while studying at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
“When I was a freshman in college, I was dating a guy who said he was a stand-up and all he really did was go to open mics,” she said. “I went to open mics with him. I didn’t know what stand-up actually was, so I wasn’t intimidated. I really enjoyed it, so I kept going.”

Hutcherson, who plays Maia’s boyfriend Dylan on I Love LA, is the only member of the show’s main cast to be confirmed to be in a relationship. He has been with his girlfriend, actress Claudia Trysak, for over 10 years.
The pair first met in early 2013 while starring in the romantic thriller film Escobar: Paradise Lost, and went public with their relationship in June of the same year.
In the years since then, they have kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight, making only a few public appearances together.
In June 2015, the Hunger Games star confirmed their relationship at the Los Angeles premiere of Escobar: Paradise Lost. “It’s pretty good,” the actor told E! News about their romance. “It’s hard to stay the distance, but we’ll do it.”
“I’m really happy,” Trysak added. “It’s really amazing.”

Meester, who appears in the series as Maia’s boss, married actor Adam Brody in February 2014.
Brody and Meester, who appeared on popular teen shows The OC and Gossip Girl, respectively, were introduced at a Los Angeles deli by Josh Schwartz, a producer on both shows.
In March 2023, Brody reflected on the early days of his relationship with Meester in an interview on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show.
“My wife and I actually got married soon after we started dating,” he said. “It was a very easy decision for me and for both of us. I’ve never been afraid of the idea of marriage or children. I always knew that was the path I would eventually go down.”
The two co-starred in the movie Orange in 2011 and began dating in 2013. Ten years later, she appeared on screen again in the thriller “River Wild.” Meester also appeared with her husband in Season 2 of the Netflix series “Nobody Wants This.”
The couple are also the parents of two children. They have a daughter, Arlo, who was born in 2015, and a son, whose name has not been made public, who was born in 2020.

Wood is also a guest star on “I Love LA.” In real life, he is in a long-term relationship with producer Mette Marie Kongsved.
The couple, who are rumored to be married, have kept their relationship private for many years. The two first worked together in the 2017 Netflix film I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore, starring Wood and produced by Kongsved.
Wood and Kongsved became parents when they welcomed a son in 2019, followed by a daughter in 2022.
Although they have not officially confirmed the news, Wood referred to the producer as his “wife” during an appearance on the Inside of You podcast with Michael Rosenbaum in January 2025.
“I’m so thankful for my family, my kids, my wife. It’s like they’re an extension of me,” he said. “They are the most important people in my life.”

Tim Baltz has also guest-starred on the HBO series. The actor and comedian, known for his role in ‘Jewels of Justice’, married his wife Lily Sullivan in 2022.
Sullivan, an actress who appeared in episodes of “The Righteous Gemstones” and “St. Denis Medical,” met Baltz through mutual friends in Los Angeles.
“Definitely,[we’ve]been friends for a while. I was writing a web series with a friend of mine,” Baltz said in a December 2024 interview on the podcast Couples Therapy.
Before dating Sullivan, she said that her dates in Los Angeles felt “apocalyptic,” but she knew Sullivan was special because he was “the only person who made me laugh” during a difficult time.
After proposing to Sullivan in January 2020 in Paris, the couple tied the knot on February 5, 2022.

The I Love LA premiere comes less than two months after Colin Woodell, who guest stars on the show, married his longtime girlfriend Danielle Campbell.
Campbell, known for her role in The Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals, announced their engagement in August 2023. PEOPLE confirms that they exchanged vows two years later, on September 13, 2025, in France.
