Sidney Sweeney attended the premiere of the boxing biopic ‘Christie’. The actress debuted her new hairstyle on the red carpet. The film was shown at AFI Fest in 2025.
Sidney Sweeney debuted a new hairstyle on Saturday, the same night the movie Christie premiered at the 2025 AFI Fest in Los Angeles. The actress was modeling a wavy blonde bob that ended a few inches below her jawline. For her red carpet walk, Sweeney wore a custom pale pink Miu Miu dress with a halter neck and belted waist.
The skirt flared above the hips, skimmed the ground, and was covered in a textured lace overlay. She wore the look with coral pink lips and rosy eyeshadow.

The Euphoria star previously cut her hair short in March 2024. That time she walked the red carpet at the 35th Annual GLAAD Media Awards with a slightly longer cut that still fell well above her shoulders.
Christie is a biopic about Christie Martin, a famous female boxer who rose to fame in the 1990s. In October 2024, Sweeney posted about the role on Instagram.
“Thanks to all the dads in the bush, the cat is out of the bag, so here’s a little excerpt from the movie we’re currently making,” she wrote at the time. “For the past few months, I have been immersed in training to bring to life the story of an incredible woman who was a true champion who fought her battles both inside and outside the ring. Her journey is a testament to resilience, strength and hope, and I am honored to stand in her shoes and share her powerful story with you.”
In W’s June 2025 cover story, Sweeney talked about training and gaining weight for the role.
“I started eating,” she said. “I did an hour of weight training in the morning, about two hours of kickboxing during the day, and another hour of weight training in the evening.”
She added: “My body was completely different. None of the clothes fit me. I usually wear a size 23 in jeans, but I was wearing a size 27. My boobs got bigger. And my butt got bigger. It was crazy! I thought, ‘Oh my god.'” But it was great. I was so strong, crazy strong. ”
