Kim Kardashian celebrated her 45th birthday in Paris last week, and on Sunday she took to TikTok to show off some of the glamorous presents she unwrapped.
Joined by Mamager’s Kris Jenner and her co-stars from Hulu’s All’s Well, Kim wore three stunning looks throughout her big day – all haute couture, of course.
But the big moment for the designer came earlier in the day in her hotel room, when she was sitting on the floor unboxing a birthday present from Chris.
Kim placed two orange boxes in front of her and first pulled out a large red alligator shoulder Birkin. This bag was created during Jean Paul Gaultier’s time as creative director of Hermès from 2003 to 2010. He designed the Shoulder Birkin in 2004.
In an interview with Alex Cooper on Call Her Daddy two weeks ago, Kim revealed that she was looking to buy every croc shoulder Birkin in existence.
“I’d like to collect them all, but they’re so rare that I’ll never find them,” she said.
She went on to explain that she told her mother that she gave the bag to her sister Kylie Jenner in August.
“I was furious,” Kim told Alex.
As any good sister would do, Khloé Kardashian revealed that she had actually already bought Kim a pair and gave it to her as an early gift.
For those keeping track, that means Kim now owns a total of three Crocodile Shoulder Birkins and is well on her way to her goal of “collecting them all.”
But that’s not all.
Kim opened a second Hermès purse box during the TikTok. This was also a gift from her mother, Chris.
“You know I love the Kelly cut,” she said while showing off the beige design.
Kim’s new accessory could be worth more than $150,000, as a similar shoulder Birkin sells for $75,000 and her Kelly cut currently sells for $88,000 in different colors.
Looking at the precious Birkin Gaultier designed in the video, Kardashian smiled and said, “The red is so rich. I want to wear it with my red nails.”
I can’t wait to see it in the open air.
