2012
Jenner and Bieber (then Baldwin) were initially introduced by Kendall’s sister Kylie Jenner. Recounting the moment years later on an episode of Who’s in My Bathroom?, Bieber said, “The first time I met you was at the premiere of The Hunger Games.”
“We met through Kylie. You were friends with Kylie and you realized I was more fun,” Jenner joked.
Bieber replied, “Not necessarily. I love you guys. We just got closer because you started modeling and you were always coming to New York and I was living in New York.”
Jenner and Bieber also appeared on the runway at Sherri Hill’s New York Fashion Week show in September. “Not only are they beautiful, but they’re also bright and have great work ethics. That says a lot about them,” Hill told W Magazine about the casting of Jenner, Bieber, and Grace Elizabeth.
November 2014
Bieber celebrated his 18th birthday with close friends, including Jenner and sister Kylie. The trio took photos in the evening.
May 2015
Bieber and Jenner attended the Met Gala together, along with friends Gigi and Bella Hadid. Jenner, making her second appearance at the event, wore a green Calvin Klein dress, while Bieber debuted in a blue minidress from Topshop.

Bieber and Jenner were both featured on Apple Music’s ZaZa World Radio’s Valentine’s Day special. “When Kendall loves, she loves very passionately, and I think that’s a great quality,” Bieber said of his friend. “I think she’s a great girlfriend and you can tell because we’ve dated. Just kidding,” she joked.
She then added more seriously, “I’ve seen her… go through a lot of different experiences in relationships, and I feel like, as a human being, people don’t understand that because we’ve never really talked about it. So… they have this idea in their mind, this recognition. You know, you know, maybe…it’s like throwing people in the trash. Jenner and Bieber traveled to Jamaica with friend Justin Skye to celebrate Skye’s birthday. The group was photographed swimming, jumping off cliffs and enjoying the tropical scenery.
September 2019
Ahead of Hailey and Justin’s second wedding celebration, Jenner helped plan Hailey’s bachelorette party on September 25th. The night started with dinner at Isabel, followed by drinks and dancing at Delilah. A source told Us Weekly that Jenner “looked like the mastermind of the party” and was “in charge of all the preparations.”
“Kendall was by Hailey’s side all night,” the source added.
Jenner attended Hailey and Justin’s formal wedding on September 30th at Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina. At the event, she wore a form-fitting black and gold sleeveless dress.
Bieber wore a custom off-white gown.
March 2021
Bieber invited Jenner to be a guest on his YouTube series “Who’s in My Bathroom?” During the episode, they reflected on their friendship and how they’ve supported each other over the years. “I feel like we’ve both watched each other grow up at different times,” Jenner said. “And we were there for each other through all of that and didn’t let that get in the way of our friendship, which I think is really special and important.”
“I think it’s really hard, especially in an industry like the one we’re in, to find people who feel comfortable and understand,” Bieber responded. “It’s all so hard and so overwhelming and hard to stay sane sometimes. But I feel like we both really were there for each other.”
Jenner added, “I say the same thing about my family. I have family members who are in the same position as me. So I think I’m extremely lucky to have so many people around me that love me and completely understand what I’m going through. And you’re obviously one of the biggest people in that.”
