Pregnant Cardi B’s boyfriend, Stephon Diggs, was found leaving the hospital holding the baby’s carrier just four months before her father’s lawsuit slammed.
According to a video obtained on Friday, May 11, TMZ, the New England Patriot wide receiver was seen folding the car seat and placing it inside an SUV parked outside a New York City hospital.
An unknown woman was filmed as he messes with a baby buggy and sat in the car.
Page 6 confirmed that Aileen Lopera, whom Diggs argued in the court application that he was the father of her child, was not the woman seen in the car.
“You can see that it’s not my client in the video and that she hasn’t been offered a car seat,” Lopera’s lawyer, Tamar Arminak, told Page Six on Friday. “My clients look forward to the day when Mr. Diggs finally meets and offers, recognizes and offers the young daughter they share.”
Lopera, known on Instagram as Lord Gisselle, filed a petition in December 2024 to determine parental relationships, according to a six-page document.
A fashion nova ambassador who was pregnant at the time of the filing listed the 31-year-old Diggs as the “parent” of her child at the time, demanding legal and physical custody.
She also asked Diggs only the right to visit, and NFL players would cover all of their pregnancy and birth costs, as well as her legal costs.
The child in question, Charlie Harper Diggs Lopella, was born on April 2nd.
In July, Diggs submitted an answer that he claimed was “not sure,” claiming that Charlie was his child and requested that a genetic test be conducted to determine whether he was a father.
If the test results confirm that he is a father, Diggs seeks legal and joint physical custody of the child. He also requests that her pregnancy, birth and lawyer fees be split evenly.
Interestingly, Diggs confirmed his relationship with Cardi (32) the day after seeing him having a baby carrier outside the hospital.
This week, Cardi announced that she is pregnant and is hoping for Diggs’ child. The rapper, whose real name is Belkaris Marrenis Almanzar, shares it with the offset of her husband, who has already estranged her three children.
Diggs also has an eight-year-old daughter due to past relationships.
Diggs and Lopera representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
